It is possible but we should not expect it. When Ethereum reached $1,400 the last time, it did not take a whole year. We are yet on the starting line. There is still a lot of time left in 2020. Ethereum, being the most trusted altcoin, it can easily break expectations but it is better not to set anything too high or else we end up disappointed.

I dont believe in history doesn't repeat itself. Why not possible? Eth is a strong platform and they plan to upgrade a lot this 2020. Eth 2.0 is in pacing tight right now and people already bagging up a lot for the required staking for eth. If bitcoin reach another new ATH what do you think other coins such as eth will make? The current price of eth is $165 and that's not bad at all for a bearish sentiment. Imagine if the marketcap is triple by mids of 2020 I can see $400 to $500 by that time.

I agree, ETH is a very breakthrough platform, but unfortunately the coin price depends on ICO.  Now the price goes to $180, while it lags behind the top 10 coins in growth.

I couldn't agree more with these two comments.

Ethereum, is highly linked to the ICOs, which brings benefits, but not always. However, this doesn't mean that ETH can't get a good price this year

You believe, i believe too.  I think everyone free to speculate. But for disclaimer, my speculation is not something that people can believe because no one can predict what can happen in future. For me, like bitcoin with halving, ETH have ETH 2.0 and i think it can make ETH price pumped, and last bitcoin pump that followed by ETH i think it can be happen again.

I doubt that can happen, even though all the possibilities can happen at any time. I would be sure to say that can happen IF bitcoin has reached a price above 13k usd, if it is still below that price then expect ethereum prices at 1.4k in my opinion will be a little difficult to achieve. this is just my personal opinion based on the hesitation I see in market conditions.

Its hard for Ethereum to reach above $1000 this year, You need to have at least 32 ETH in order to earn the staking rewards which is quite more compared to other staking coins. It might reach more than $500 but $1400 would be total exaggeration.

No. $1400 is almost 10x of current ETH price. That's just delusional in my opinion. You can be bullish in crypto right now as 2020 is looking good so far but expecting 10x of a big market cap altcoin isn't bullish but crazy. No matter how big the adoption increase, that just won't happen anytime soon. Besides, most people already know crypto and even probably have get rekt from the 2018 pullback after FOMOing in 2017.

It will be a good year but having a high prediction for Ethereum @ $1,400 , let's be real that the chance is slim to see it at that price. What's your aim for Ethereum? It's a good prediction and giving yourself an optimistic price for it but seems to high.

But still no one can see the future and if the market goes crazy into bull run again, we might possibly see it. And as a counter measure, you shouldn't count and expect for that price and maybe a little lower will do like around $300-$400.

I'm realist, Really I don't expect such an exaggerated rise. However I was reading some shitposts and I really found some things interesting about this.

32 Ethereum, worth about $ 6,000. So it's not impossible for today. There will already be many opportunities for soft staking in the future. So those with less Ethereum will also be able to somehow be more in the staking process.

I think the key point here is about Ethereum emmision. If it will be a limit for release annually as 100k ETH, it would be $1400 easily.
Otherwise, it is hard to see new ATH.

When the market rises, people often have different predictions about the coin they are holding and actually the $1400 price is too far from the present. I think this year we will never be able to see this price because the crypto market this year is difficult to predict. In my opinion, you should only expect ETH at $300 or $500 because this is the price that can be achieved if altcoin season comes back.

i do not know, if the cryptocurrency grow like three days ago maybe it can happen, but if cryptocurrency bad grow like tend to stable price. it be difficult, i do not expecting so much because ethereum has been make me dissappointed so much. i have been held two years and still not give profit for me even the grow of ethereum price defeated with Dash and ltc price
