Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year?

I believe, like many, that this year will be very good for the crypto world. Assuming that the adoption of cryptocurrencies increases considerably this year, is it possible to see Ethereum surpass the $1400 mark?

If Ethereum will go to at around $1400 this year, Bitcoin must top its previous ATH which is near $20,000 since at that time when Bitcoin is near on that price Ethereum is at around $1300. Now we know already that the price of Ethereum will depend on the price of Bitcoin. The question is will Ethereum reach $1400 this year.

There is a bit of a chance (at around 1-5%) that it will happen. I know some are saying nahhh it will not happen but for me, I always see both sides. Even though this is still far right now, if Bitcoin slowly increases all throughout the year many coins will follow and Ethereum will be one. There is still a possibility for it to happen but by a low percentage.

In my opinion, Ethereum is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies with breakthrough technology. It’s scheduled many upgrades and improvements in 2019-2020 including the change of consensus method, conversion to PoS, a hard fork that will increase the block times and others. If the team succeeds in implementing it, the price will go indeed high. I think Ethereum can easily reach $2,000 in this case. If not Ethereum can be replaced by its competitors such as NEO and EOS, as they are offering similar products.

That is so possible, but we need a real run or big run up for ethereum along with bitcoins bull trend. i also believe that the time that bitcoin breaks the bear trend from the recent 2019 run the money keeps going and folling the bulls as almost all alts on the top are making its high amd havig some moves right now.

I think even when bitcoin reaches important milestones in value, eth's price is still hard to keep up with the pace of bitcoin because looking at the last time, the value of bitcoin reached $13000 while ethereum's value was still relatively low, it does not have any reaction that is consistent with bitcoin. Besides, we're here probably hearing about eth's upcoming projects, ethereum 2.0 release and many other improvements but the state remains the same, ethereum's value has not grown positively, $1400 is really not much hope

I think we will definitely see a higher price Ethereum this year but 1400 not so sure that is a pretty big price increase, Bitcoin needs to rise a lot in that case.

Ethereum is still one of the main better Cryptocurrencies and really easy to purchase now, if I buy crypto I just buy Ethereum because the transfer fees are way cheaper and now a days you can buy any crypto with Ethereum just like Bitcoin!

too far if we expect $ 1400 this year. altseason hasnt started yet. we have to wait altseason start then we can expect new ATH
ETH is still good coin for investing, but it doesnt meant that ETH would be great for everytime
bcz there is time which is suitable for entering in ETH and not to. and this time isnt suitable in my opinion
waiting altseason is good reason to avoid risk from this bearish market

If you are looking at the realistic prices then there is no way the price of Ethereum reaches those levels when the price of bitcoin rallies to its previous all time high simply because the investors will be quick to dump the alts and invest into bitcoin to ride the rally and make the maximum benefit and that being the case it is hard to imagine that the price will rally because of the use case of ETH.

I'm not expecting too much but I have my hope that Ethereum would reach a good value this year. Last year wasn't the best year for altcoins but Ethereum remained consistent. I'm sure that it could even go more especially when Bitcoin and the whole market situation get better. if ETH wouldn't update to POS i think eth can go more than $1400, probably even $2K+. that POS will solve the scalability as they said it will but its not going to help its price go up. look how the price had dropped when they announced the fork. if ETH will remains as is with POW, the better its price will be. Vitalik sent the message that its meant to be POW but with POS it means ETH will be earned easily and can be dumped right away.

And I don't think there's a bull run this year even if you say there's a Bitcoin halving because the post-halving effect will only happen after almost a year from the halving month.

We don't know want will happen to ETH if it can increase to $1400 mark but I think it's possible to happen again because of upcoming blockhalving.
Many altcoins increase on the past after blockhalving so its possible that it can happen again to ETH just like before. There is only difference on the price movement last year but it can be increase again after the blockhalving or this coming 2021.

Now the price of ethereum is at $ 172, if you have to reach the price of $ 1400 is still too heavy in my opinion. According to my predictions
