Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year?

Everything can happen except that ETH demand has begun to decrease since the ICO trend began to fall and after that the price of ETH continues down until now which is still at the level of 160$.

That era where investment mostly being held using this coin already passed it's popularities but there's still chances that once Bitcoin start to jump high mostly this coin also being pump and follow Bitcoin movement. We don't know and there's no assurance what future will bring to this project only time will tell if this momentum will be achieved.

That would go a hard pump there. And if by any means Ethereum reach that price Bitcoin would definitely be in another game. Beside before we see that what must be met would be in Bitcoin's condition first. As it when bitcoin go spike, alts will do the same thing. Therefore we should see Bitcoin extreme pump that on the other hand we are assured that alts will have the same thing. As for if Eth will reach it this year? A lot of speculation about what price of eth could reach this year. Price could possibly increase below $1k but we really don't know if this year could reach more than $1k. About popularity on eth we cannot tell this early if its over but once there is an event to happen price could pump in the market.

I think that ETH will obviously be worth more than $800 in time, because its ATH is about $1500, I think in time we can see ETH at $2000.

ETH is not anymore popular. Is that what you are saying? The last time I checked, Ethereum remains at the second spot in CMC, next only to Bitcoin. And if my memory serves me right this time, it has been like this for the past couple of years at least.

Looking at the current price chart of Ethereum at this very moment of the year 2020, Ethereum's price is currently playing at $160+ which is too far far the price prediction or expectation you are looking forward to be the price of Ethereum for this year round. Although that can be possible to make happen since we are just getting started and the first month of the year 2020 is just about to end so we do still have 11 months to spend with, I think there will be lots of happenings that can take place which might trigger the improvement of the price of Ethereum to get into a pump this year. I am not saying that the price mark will be enclosed into $1,400 but it can be possible  to be close to that value. But as of the moment, we can never tell through prediction because there are still a lot of possible things to happen that can contribute to the increase or the other way around. Let us just all hope for the best things to happen not just for Ethereum but as well as for the whole cryptocurrency.

I'm not disclosing it since it is already been reached before but the current market flows looks so different at this time. We're not in the bullish yet and we are still far from December ends, therefore there is still a chance to make another high but think of $1,400 is quite (really)high.
I even just hopes that Ethereum price will reach $500, this is good enough for investors and traders to bring back their losses in the previous years when the market turns down badly.

That price was reached under very favourable circumstances for ethereum, you should consider yourself lucky if we reach 700 dollars during this year and even I think that amount could be too high, the main reason ethereum touched that price was because people were very excited about icos and now if you take the time to read the comments of the members of the forum you will realize that most people are not really interested in icos anymore and without that interest the price of ethereum cannot go up.

Ethereum without doubt best of entire altcoins. It has achieved the ath value of $1400+ value along with the price of bitcoin. Later there isn't no big growth followed by the growth of bitcoin. You cannot bet on a coin by looking at their all time high valuation, if you look at the alt coin market all the coins in the market are down from their all time high valuation but that does not mean that it will climb to their peak valuation, you have to take into account the ICO rally when the market started to pump to those levels and it is clear where those projects are and that trend is done and dusted and you have to take into account all these things.

Etherum is trying to stand up in the race again by launching its 2.0 version. Also I heard some rumors about etherum that it would enter the mainnet and would allow staking on the platform. This might create a dense demand for etherum back and it might also allow most of the investors to start trusting etherum again.

Etheurm is yet on the second rank among the crypto coins and hence the developers might surely try to make it more valuable before the bull runs arrive this time. Reaching $1400 might be a challenge for etherum but more developments like 2.0 version and staking etherum can make it possible. Huge demand needs to be created for etherum which would drive the price in the ascending graph to meet $1400 soon.
