This year ether is unlikely to grow to $1,400, although the price has begun to recover. The ETH price of $1,400 is quite real, but not this year.

Maybe this year ethereum will go up in price because there is a change to ethereum 2.0, but I am not sure if ethereum can reach $ 1,400 this year. Ethereum seems a sleeping giant nowadays! It has high potential but the outcome is very little! Ethereum is passing bad time for 2 years, this year ETH 2.0 can be a trump card for Ethereum, Bitcoin halving too. If the bull run comes in the crypto world, Ethereum price will start growing highly, then 1400 USD is not impossible. Though I am being fed upon Ethereum growth, but yet I am optimistic!

No one knows if ethereum can hit 1400$ this year but who cares? Ethereum is good for longterm so there is nothing to worry about, if bitcoin can manage to go up to 20k again then it's very possible for ETH to hit 1.4k and other altcoins will surge too

If we will be talking about this year then the chances is not that high as the bull will likely to start by the end of first quarter this year and there is no enough time to boost the hype especially that big investors are favoring bitcoin over ethereum.

What is sure is that ethereum will surely reach a new record before the bull market will end. And there is a big chance that it will even surpass the 1400$ price as I think ethereum will hit a new ATH that ranges from 1800$-2500$.

Current price of etherum would never allow us to see etherum on the target you set. Etherum was one of the top performing cryptocurrency of all times but slowly and steadily they are losing their demand. Etherum has also made a lot of investors stand in the circle of loss after the bull runs vanished from the mid 2017.

A lot of people have already bought etherum that time when they were on peak which never showed that value until now. This might have made the investors lose faith from etherum and perhaps these bull runs might show etherum good price again but yet not much whales would accumulate over etherum this year which would not make them such valuable. They might perhaps meet $900 to $1000 but it is really difficult to cross that target.

What ethereum should inspire to do this year would be to get the market share from other coins that they used to have, they have lost ICO wars to binance and others with the IEO and all, they lost dapp wars to tron and eos likes, they are even losing the blockchain wars to other coins right now.

Get their build together, make it proof of stake, get a ton of developers build dapps that are fun and help them get there with funding or talent, make sure your blockchain is the best data storage system in the whole world again and you got yourself ethereum at 1400 dollar level value even if not the price which would slowly but surely reach there over time. Increasing the price is easy, a whale can come in and buy billions of ethereum and we are up again, but its not sustainable, we need to increase the value of it.

Whether or not et can reach a value of $ 1,400 I think depends on how the BTC price increases because every time the btc goes up, eth will always follow, and most likely this year is a good year where cryptocurrency will be re-calculated.

Well, the value of bitcoin is rising quite well this year but you can see that ethereum still doesn't follow, just some altcoins that we didn't notice, they followed bitcoin, and that makes me think that this is a bad year for eth, the market doesn't expect too much from it. You are literally just looking at top coins, I said cryptocurrency that means crypto in general. Have you seen IEO and other altcoins except Ethereum? They are really doom for now because lack of interests. If you are a true trader, please explore more.
