Litecoin’s on-chain transaction volume for the past 7 days has increased by 85% compared to that of the previous week. Number of transactions worth more than $1 million USD have also increased by 40%.

According to crypto disclosure platform Xangle, Litecoin’s 7-day on-chain transaction volume ending 17th January was $3.17 Billion USD, a staggering 85% increase week-on-week. Ethereum’s number was $1.88 Billion USD with a relatively moderate 12.99% increase.

This is an interesting development as last week’s 7-day on-chain transaction volume for Litecoin and Ethereum were pretty similar at $1.71 Billion and $1.67 Billion USD respectively. The only major event between last week and this week’s stats is alleged to be BSV’s bull run, sparked by rumors surrounding Craig Wright.

Litecoin’s 7-day on-chain transactions worth more than $1 Million USD have also increased by 42.38%, happening amongst 514 transactions. The price also saw a 20% increase from $47.73 USD to $58.47 USD week-on-week.

This happens in pretty much every top alts.  such as Dash and ETC, it has also surged like litecoin and even the rate is higher.  We are in bull market and we should choose top alts like BCH, ETC, Dash.  Although its volume is not as high as Litecoin, it is the strongest and most pronounced alts.  It seems we should turn over speculation into the alts out of top 10

That's looks good to see that but it's not only litecoin and when you are seeing the whole volume ranking for cryptocurrency and I believe you will see if the whole of cryptos is getting increasingly more than 85% from their last 7 day ago. We are in the bullish market that bitcoin is also starting to increase too. The halving time is ahead of us and i guess litecoin will get more volume as it will be following the price increase of bitcoin. This is just the early start and the real journey will be start very soon. Just watch and prepare your hodl.   Based on that news and people were very active to create on chain transaction.

Price increase seems to be the affect from increasing in BTC price. I can't see much difference between earlier price of LTC against BTC but USD. For you info, BTC on chain transactions too have been increased significantly. I think that's not a signal of investing. Altcoin only have pump after BTC get a new ATH.

Litecoin could also be affected by BSV or others but I see that now it is not only Litecoin whose volume is increasing but BTC and other altcoins are increasing

After LTC halving has a bad performance, If LTC is positive at the moment, I think it will also impact the price of BTC when the halving event is about to happen.
