Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year?

Only coin I prefer to hold for long term in Bitcoin.
Everything else is very risky, but that does not mean you can't earn from them also if you have time to trade them.
Most of altcoins are not worth holding with only few exceptions.

I think your choice is right and the same as my choice which so far has always trusted Bitcoin and Ethereum for me to keep for the long term for more than a year.
because in my opinion both are potentially profitable and always provide a good return if we wait patiently.

I think if you want to make a bigger profit then you should find a new project to invest because these are projects that often attract a lot of investors. because the two coins bitcoin and ethereum have been proven to last long on the crypto market and already have a large trading volume, market capitalization and community. and these two coins can also be used for real. so the possibility of a crash is very small. whereas new altcoins are largely unable to last long on the crypto market or survive but do not have trading volume. so it's better to buy the top 10 coins even though the increase is not as high as altcoin but can last a long time in the crypto market.

This is the only coin that I can hold for a year or more than a year. There are some reasons why I choose only one coin right now.
One is that I don't have enough funds to buy another coin like Ethereum or Ripple so I will just hold one coin and it is Bitcoin.
Two is if I will choose between Bitcoin and Ethereum, I trust Bitcoin more although it has a slower tx speed . Many people believe that Bitcoin will yield more profit for the investors and I'm one of them that is why I will choose to hold Bitcoin for the long term.

That would be the better choice or even up to top 20. There are altcoins in the top between top 10-20 which are a good investment and these projects are really promising that can give you a decent profit when holding for a long term.

I can hold on to any coin that have a rare use case that will be very useful for the whole world, holding bitcoin and ethereum is a normal thing to do because they are the best but what about few new gems in crypto space? These coins will easily climb up to top 10 in near future, if you can find them they will bring better returns than ETH or BTC will ever bring
