If you are interested in listing in a good exchange, I suggest listing in Kucoin. This is really a good exchange with good volume and community. The listing is a little high but it worths to list your project there. This will be the future giant exchange in crypto.

You could also consider this. I don't know if they're still have a free listing like there's a competition for new tokens and their respective community will vote and the most numbers of votes win the free listing.
That's really a big savings for the team.

Moreover, just choose those reputed ones since this will have a good impact to your token's image and just avoid decentralized exchanges as they have low liquidity.

Many factors are to be checked for this. About fees for listing asking for exorbitant fees is a no-go for any new project that has just done a startup funding. So they will go with the cheaper options that they can find. This often leads to low volume exchanges and people will cry "When Binance?".

Its more important to look for good track record and company registration if you are going for a CEX. For DEX go with the most popular ones -they dont ask listing fees for Etherdelta since it gets into the network once you launch the token on Ethereum mainnet.

Good support system is also important. This goes for the customer service of that exchange.

Kucoin is indeed a big exchange but to put coins in exchange must be at a large cost and with other requirements too so I think it will be good if the coins enter there.
But whether the coin is useful in their products or not because Kucoin does not accept coins for which there is no developer.

Is there any exchange site will accept a token if there is no developer? That token will be dead later without any improvement. That's too risky for that site accept that kind of coin since people will say something bad about kucoin

If you have a token or altcoin that needs to be listed to an exchange, first, avoid those unknown exchanges that are offering free listing and always consider the liquidity that they have. If you will bite that kind of offer they have, expect a bad result with your coin.

But what matters most is the fundamentals and use case of your coin. If it's very useful and people are seeing it so whether it will be on any exchange, they will buy it but it changes also from time to time because the impression of an exchange of where your token is listed will also be shared to your coin. The popular exchanges will cost you much but do you think you can par with their pricing?
