This 1 BTC BitBill was funded with 1 BTC on July 26, 2011. For the first few years I kept it in my wallet so there is a little tearing and peeling around the edges.  Otherwise, it is in good condition.  The last few years it has been kept in a vault. I am the original owner.

Auction starts now.

Starting Bid: 1.1 BTC
Increments: 0.05 BTC

Auction will be valid until Sunday January 26, 2020 11:00 pm Eastern Time EST
Bids Extend Auction by 5 minutes. (No Sniping)
Reserve the right to cancel auction or deny bids at any time, for any reason.

minerJones has agreed to provide escrow. Escrow fee is 1%, split between buyer and seller.

Free shipping to mainland USA via USPS Registered Mail; will be packaged securely inside zip-lock bag to prevent moisture, and padded as well.

International shipping available.  Will split shipping cost with the buyer.

Buyer may request reship via minerJones for additional authentication if desired.

For more info about BitBills and how rare they are refer to the following thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3334918.0

It is funded, and intact. I have never opened a BitBill, but I understand that they can be redeemed:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitbills

The Bitbill launch was announced on May 9, 2011.
As of May 15, 2012, Bitbills are no longer in production.

Here is a link to the images of the card:
http://imgur.com/a/cmjxXxk  (updated link)

I can provide more photos via imgur if requested, but I can't insert images directly into the post.

Here are the links showing the card is funded. As you can see it is a pre-forked bitcoin:

If you have any questions, please ask. Good luck bidding, and thanks for looking.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I just wanted to say this is card I always wanted. This is the best bitcoin collectible item ever. I love this bitbills card. Also this one is beta version - awesome. Card is in excellent condition too.  This is truly a historical piece.  Smiley I have been trying to get a regular bitbills card for so long but the cost is beyond my reach.

Sky - I hope you win this auction.

When I was creating this auction I initially copied from another bitbill auction. This was one of the copied parts.

I suppose the only reason is if I feel I don't get a fair price for it but I don't think that will happen.  My mind is set on selling it.

You should start it at a price you are willing to sell it at.  I don't think this a great practice.... either it's for sale or it isn't.... I'd like a confirmation that even if there are no more bids, that I own this for 1.15BTC.

Okay.  On my word it's yours for 1.15 btc if no one outbids you.

Good luck!!  There's still a lot of time left for the auction.

I've been informed that it seems all bitbills were actually Beta. However, that really doesn't take anything away from it imho

At the current price, possibly? I know for sure it's gone for quite a bit more. We still have over a week to go.  Let's see.

I have exceeded my personal messages for the day.

However, I would be happy to send a PGP signed message regarding this item to whoever happens to win the auction.  Good luck!

Just 30 minutes to go!
