The lack of education is the reason for the resources being stolen by the Western world. At the beginning African people got an opportunity to earn, so people never minded anything. Later Westerners started to evade and with the resources earned big and gave worth nothing to the people. Even the grown world countries have got poverty which is hidden. Say what you like about Libya but there's no denying the region was much stable before the US-sponsored deposing. I can't even call it a coup since the country just descended into a civil war with no clear change of leadership at the time. The state of lawlessness in North Africa is one reason Europe got flooded with immigrunts. Not only were people from North Africa crossing the Mediterranean, there was also no strong government to stop the human traffic from Sub-Saharan Africa.

I guess the best example of this stupid interventionism are the literal Banana Republics. The US military basically served as mercenaries for plantation owners. Imagine fucking up entire countries for a Cavendish.
