I just checked my credit cards, and I have about $8000 of room to play with.  I'm not saying it's a good idea, but if I were to buy maybe $2000 worth of LTC at $40 each, for 50 LTC, and HODL it a couple months to the next price pop, that would be enough to pay back the credit card and give me a few grand extra.

But knowing me, as I do, if I did this and made a decent profit from buying $2000 worth of LTC, I wouldn't be happy, I'd be PISSED that I didn't buy $8000 worth.

I see the price of LTC following the price of Bitcoin, when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of LTC also goes up, and vice versa. Therefore I think going down again to $ 30 will be very difficult to achieve because currently the price of Bitcoin is still in a Bullish trend.

I'm not surprise for having a good sight for future on LTC since actually on the past halving this coin gain more percentage together with the other alt's and it will happen again once the market will take it's place with the presence of that scenario. I don't know why you think LTC is too expensive? The fact that the price is high only shows how great and strong position Litecoin have on the cryptocurrency market. I think that should encourage investors to be interested in this coin. In my opinion, Litecoin and Ethereum will have the greatest potential for price increase in 2020. When it comes to buy for the price of $30, or below $40, I would rather not expect that we will see this price again in the coming weeks.

Should you make this thread? For what?

Being an investor you have to know the right time to enter of course with your own analyst. Don't just see the movement price and you just have an intention but didn't know when to enter it will be useless. Other than that, you have to see the sentiment market as a whole don't just look at the information about the coin itself it will give you a bit of chance. Litecoin is a good coin IMO, you will get profit although you will find the lose but this thing will test your patience.

After recent spike from bsv and dash I think next one in line is ltc, so I expect one spike to 100 dollars or close to that at least. I bought at 50 dollars, and I will sell if it crosses 90 dollars mark! If not I will wait for that to happen some time. My trading with ltc was and is mid term, in some time ltc make a nice spike and drop after that spike, nice range for a nice profit, just needs a lot of patience when you trade with ltc.

You can expect some correction on LTC, don't panic, wait it out as it's getting lower again. New year's hype is over so nothing unexpected should happen at this point. LTC halving been some time ago and didn't change donkey shit for this coin so why would BTC halving do it. ~15% fall from current prices is basically mandatory and only if you have some patient you can do it.

It almost happens most of the time when you actually sell. like in BCH i sold roght before it pumps because i am bearish bit i didn't chase its price going up because there might be a possibility that i will lose than earming by chasing especially i am trading in futures where there is a high risk of losing my money overtime if i cannot watch and manage my risk.

LTC is just bouncing between $56 to $58 in the last 3 days. Well, my least guess is that if it breaks its support level LTC might just stop at $40. Better yet don't hold back at that price though.

Litecoin at anything below $50 is a good investment in my opinion. Don't expect it to get into the low 30's again for a while. Buy it as cheap as you can possibly get in at. Even at the current prices, you're getting a really good deal on it. You'll make some decent money even if you got in at the almost $60 price it's currently trading at. Don't worry so much about getting in at the absolute bottom.
