Not many talked much about waves, and I never seen it very promoted, I did hear it is a great project from few trustworthy sources that can understand code tho.

WAVES is one of the top 100 coinmarketcaps and also he has an interesting blockchain that even has a DEX market for their own network, what they are lacking in promotion, maybe because there is nothing new about their project that is being or wants to be developed so there is a lack of promotion like for example also making a campaign signature in this forum or others will attract many investors and new traders too for WAVES, but usually it will happen when the crypto market is really crazy like the previous year so they compete for promotions, I think WAVES will also make promotions withdraw later when the market is really crazy about ATH, lack of interest and people who hold little WAVES so there is no speculation and analysis, they should think about this too

The developers of waves are not involving to promote waves that's why the coin has been out of the track but it's not too late waves still can be established well if the developers take responsibility and promote the coin in many positive ways and it's really necessary otherwise this coin will loose its reputation.

A lot of alts come and go very quickly.

WAVES's hype came from its ICO initially but the development and hype around it did not sustain, it was as simple as that. There is virtually no use for their DEX which is why there is a lack of adoption, and when there is a lack of fundamentals it makes it hard for speculators to bet on it.

It could still make some short term sizable gains from pump and dumps, but honestly in the long run it has no apparent future.

It's a very bad thing to hear about Waves developers team. I have some waves for a long time, and now when I saw this topic it's really like that, I don't remember when I saw something new about Waves, or heard some announcement from their team. If they plan to stay competitive they will need to try to find solutions for their language barriers (in case it's true what you heard) and work together on development. I will try to find some recent news about Waves, maybe I will find something interesting.

You are right, Waves has lack of promotion! There was a bounty campaign of WAVES years ago, otherwise, I haven't seen much promotion or developments in Waves chain! Maybe that's why their DEX is not that popular anymore!

No offense, but I heard lots of negativity against Russian projects! Most of them are scams, 90% of Russian bounty projects did not pay its hunters, there are a very few were better in the crypto market, Waves was the best among them as an example. But as you mentioned, language can be a barrier, therefore I haven't seen any interesting announcements or a successful new project on Waves chain!

I think the answer is simple. Nobody talks about this platform because in my opinion it is very uncomfortable for users. I used it several times, because I had to, because of the transactions of tokens created on this platform, but it always took me more time than making transactions with tokens based on Ethereum network. If something is not beneficial, or even inconvenient, then you do not use it - simple.

Oh i am sure that they talk about it, just in their own circles. I've got similar feeling i had in NXT 2015, strong community and somehow isolated on their own circles. Not sure if waves is building as much though or acting as an incubator for new projects like nxt community was.

A few years ago waves were very popular and many ICO were launched from the platform, many people predicted that waves would be a tough rival to ethereum. But somehow the fame of the waves is gone, even though the waves have a promising product and I think the same as the current binance.

Waves are not that coin anymore what it was before! Currently, WAVES is trading at 0.87$, which is unbelievable to me! I made a great choice by moving out from WAVES when all of my friends suggested me to buy it! You can't find many developments in this project for many days! I believe with this growth WAVES soon will go outside of the top 100 coins!

It's unfortunate that waves didn't get any attention now even they used to be popular before. Waves been useful before but now no new project uses the platform that it out runs from other project. Hopefully there will be a move by the team that will make them active and successful again.

Waves was competitor of ETH but it failed to provide the solution what they promised on the time of their crowdfunding campaign. There are so many factor why it is not getting any attention from big companies to establish their business on it like ETH. The big reason there is so spamming on this platform a lot of fake tokens ruined the reputation and put into bad situation.

I also don't know why this project is so silent. WAVES was once a leading altcoin in this market but now it has lost its position in this market. Too little discussion about WAVES and no one seems to invest in this project and if the project continues like this in the future, I think it is difficult for WAVES price to rise again in the future, even it may die.

just like NEO in the past that says a Chinese Ethereum is now almost no one talk about them,i remember years back that Wave is being talked in many topics here but now it seems to be fading.

anyway just what like you said it can reach 50$ but specific time cannot be tell,but lets see when Halving of bitcoin take place.

No one talk about Wave anymore just because of its real value. Waves mostly the same to lots of altcoin and this make people not interesting about this coin. You used to hear people talk about Waves future target, but have you try ever compare that price with Waves real value? They were talk much about this coin just because that moment everything is in strong uptrend and people want to be rich.
