What about WAVES? No one talks about it anymore!

Absolutely no idea why the Waves is alienated as it was the talk of the town at one point of time during the bull run, I still remember users recommending waves and monero as alternate to Ethereum and Bitcoin but nowadays we don't see any news about these coins and even the management are least bothered to make an impact in order or them to bounce back.

And it start to retrace and yeah, i think not much people talk about Waves although its been in the field for many years

Anyhow they deserve better compare to most of the coins imo
However, currently Waves supply is not limited anymore as more waves will mint over time
If adoption can follow, Waves could be pretty good
I mean their transactions are cheap and fast if you ever use their wallet/dex

It's better if the team appears to its announcement thread and then the team must try to give feedback for the whole of the scam accusations that have already made by so many people who have been getting a big loss caused by crap management by the waves platform.
I see some people were still complaining about the waves announcement thread and there were so many negative reviews about this platform. Ths advertising campaign just will help this platform to get the new victims.

I would not agree that WAVES reputation is destroyed. People keep complaining on any platform and I have seen nothing but development happen with this one. I agree 100% that they have almost no marketing and this is what makes people so angry but to me,,, why need to spend money on marketing? Just keep building and slowly organic use will make your platform popular.

A few years ago waves were very popular and many ICO were launched from the platform, many people predicted that waves would be a tough rival to ethereum. But somehow the fame of the waves is gone, even though the waves have a promising product and I think the same as the current binance.

ETH was first so it has huge community. This is enough to make other projects basically impossible to catch up as it takes for people not only to learn new code but also stop using the old one ! Imo this is the biggest problem. ETH is more than enough to satisfy the needs of today's world for dApps. If there is demand for more dapps, than maybe there will be place for more blockchains and theiri scalability will reeally become a thing and will matter long term but right now, besides some overhyped projects that flood netowork once a year there is nothing that makes WAVES or anything similar any useful.

yups and there is no need to rush for a currency like waves in which this coin is design for long term when adoption already indeed.

In my opinion (don't blame me because i am not make deep research about coin that the chain used to create tokens) but in past i only know 2 coin which is Waves and ETH. But now, there are some other coins which can be created token from it. And Waves looks like not really popular among people, but me still use it especially for it's less withdrawal fees in exchanges.

Waves had a very good potential during the altseasons in 2017. They could do much better for themselves and their loyal investors. However Sasha couldn't manage to handle and use that wind. Technology and blockchain are very important but you can not make it without a good marketing strategy.

as we know the wave price movements seem to be quite stable lately, even though the price movements have not been able to keep up with the rising trend of bitcoin prices, but the waves are a large project that is quite potential and is still in demand by many people because on average each wave exchange charges a withdrawal fee which is quite low. it would be better if the waves were able to plan large-scale promotions that might encourage the growth of the value of the coin itself

There is a time for everything. I think WAVES has its own time recently which makes it very popular. Like any other coins, there are promotion that makes it popular. I think they lack promotion now but still their price is stable enough and will cope up with other Altcoins when promoted again to be back on the trend.

just make sure to dump when you think the price has also reached it peak. the price of WAVES had been under $1 even before time. it just fly to the moon because BTC is also flying and this happened in 2017 bullrun.  the project is just waiting for another bullrun, no significant developments to its project really that even the smart contracts were attracting developers to go on their side.

Waves has been nothing but a huge disappointment since they made their so called "DEX" centralized, making it a hybrid exchange.

And I think the waves did not make a new breakthrough, it can be said that the waves have almost 2 years there was no breakthrough done by the developer or the community. Though these waves are good coins and one of the strong competitors for ETH.
It is very unfortunate in 2018 that a lot of people misuse waveform platforms to make coins that are misused through airdrops and giveaway, and not a few waves-based projects that lead to scams. I think waves is no longer a big competitor of ethereum because they had been quiet for a long time. I don't hear any updates from sasha anymore or im not only updated. The price is keep on moving i don't expect it to be on top 10 place again only if they are going to push again its development and start making new customers and partners who will support and its blockchain.

Unfortunately, but probably all ICO projects that were created on the Waves platform have collapsed. This does not create a good opinion about this project. Also, the behavior of developers was very strange and many investors disliked it. The long-lasting bear market has led to the collapse of many projects, I think Waves is the largest of them.

This altcoin may be waiting for the right time to make a new move because they know the market is not profitable right now so whatever is done cannot push anything up so I think they are waiting for the market to get better again then they make a move.
