Which game is better, FIFA or PES?

What's the fundamental difference between these series?

By themselves, they copy their previous parts from year to year, slightly improving the graphics and physics, and adding almost nothing new and literally taking resources (like textures) from the previous parts, and sometimes completely removing what was in the previous parts.

It is not about the graphics and physics. It is how the game stands under real circumstances.
For example, around 2012 when you were playing PES in a game like Barcelona vs Numancia, it was possible that Numancia players were better than those of Barcas which is impossible as Barcelona was the best team in the world at that time. This was one of the reasons that people started playing FIFA. In addition, FIFA has better modes to play than PES (Career mode, FUT etc).

It likely just preferences, when you played Fifa when growing up you will likely stick to Fifa every year. Haven't played PES in a forever, but damn the new Fifa 2021 looks awesome. What a great game. Compared to Fifa 2020 it's really great and makes more fun to play again.

PES 2020 aims to reflect real-life football with its gameplay, meaning you will experience a lot more scoreless draws while playing it than you would in FIFA 20. Both games have their critics, who prefer one style to the other, so it is best to give both a try to see which game's play style suits best.

I prefer to play FIFA but the one problem is that the players still often have their Handicap make the players feel angry.
So I just played a few games and then quit.

I played PES until its 2013 game. I also liked PES 13 the most. But after that, I think that PES started to be worse every year. After PES 13, I returned to FIFA again and now I never play PES. I know that EA don't make big changes in FIFA in recent years. But I think FIFA is better than PES now if we compare the gameplay.

in regards to Graphics it is PES for sure because they have very eye friendly graphics .

but for Multiplier Gaming?it is FIFA for me so i think they are Both better in their own ways.

I prefer PES on Multiplier Gaming, why you choose FIFA btw?

FIFA also has Ultimate Team and Volta Football, two exclusive game modes that can be played for hundreds of hours. Pro Evo has better physics, better ball movement, and most would consider PES to have a more realistic gameplay, despite FIFA making up ground in that category in recent years.

It has been a long time since i last played those two.

But I could say that FIFA always aim for that realistic approach, while PES is purely fun to play with friends.
I don't weight my opinion on neither of these two, but probably I'm biased since I played more PES than FIFA in my past.

I haven't been playing FIFA and PES both for a long time. But I can say that I like FIFA more than PES. I like simulation-like football games more. So, if we compare these in general, FIFA is closer to my taste.

I've never played PES , but i have played FIFA and i can tell that for game as simple as it is , its very good. graphics are fairly good , still cant recognise players if im not straight in front of the monitor. Maybe there is more money poured in fifa and thats why people play it more and know it more. I bet that more people have heard of FIFA and not PES

I used to prefer PES many years ago, I know they don’t have the real player names (how dumb btw) but I thought the gameplay was better.

FIFA is miles ahead now though, the graphics, gameplay, commentary, everything is better. I think FIFA make a lot more money from sponsorship, commercial deals etc so it just pulled away on its own as the best football console game.

PES has the better gameplay for me but it's a half-hour wait for an online match which is no good unless you're on the dole. The content is poor in my club let's be honest.

My view is the same, because PES has advantages and FIFA also has advantages, that's why I always play both games, sometimes at night I like to play PES games, but during the day I prefer to play FIFA.

i prefer pes
because the graphics are good and I'm used to playing on PES, so I prefer PES and it's more comfortable.
