Bitcointalk is a very active online forum, of course you're going to get plenty of posts. Head over to the "other bitcoin forum" if you prefer a dead forum.

What squabbling are you talking about in particular?  There's always healthy debate whenever a thread isn't overrun with shitposts, but that's a good thing.  As far as forum drama goes, right now it's not out of hand.  Even when CH/TOAA was flooding the forum with nonsense it was totally tolerable and I think it actually adds a little spice to bitcointalk.

Yes--and that's one of the best things about this forum.  As long as no threats are made and there's no flagrant flaming going on, the moderators just sit back and watch the parade of hilarious goings-on.  Other forums would shut that stuff down within minutes, and I for one appreciate the freedom bitcointalk allows its members.

The forum is welcome to everyone, from any geographical locations as well as any ethics and any ranks, but joining it or leaving it and beginning your life with the other forums is your own choice.

The forum can not and will never satisfy all of people's requests. It is the forum created for bitcoin, bitcoin discussion, and then after many years of operations, it has expanded to altcoins but bitcoin is vital part of the forum.

The forum is not designed as a personalized-one, for diversifying and complicated personal favorites and interests.

Maybe the arguments are due to you spending too much time in meta and little in the bitcoin related boards?

I only ever see stuff about arguments in the other subsection and I often avoid it and just stick to the more technical boads...

If you're getting annoyed people are discussing a forum then don't come to the subsection where forum discussion is done!

bitcointalk has 128,631 active members with each different thought. Bitcointalk is even a forum that gives freedom of opinion about anything to keep the forum alive.

If you say the debate is a childish quarrel, it seems that your understanding is slightly different about the interactions in this forum.

You only complain about debates that you think are too childish and not what you want.
But, did you make a good contribution to this forum? is your goal just to criticize everyone in this forum after months of missing you and coming back.

Respect for each other's opinions will not make you sick, if indeed the opinions of others are wrong you can criticize them with kind words and motivate.

In case you don't know yet, the forum has been like this before your account was even created (2018). The forum rules have been long set and if you have a problem about how everyone is allowed to argue/debate on certain issues, then you are probably not cut out for this.

I would suggest that you avoid the forum drama that you are complaining about. Read on boards that are more focused on blockchain technology, trading, mining, and other helpful stuff. At the end of the day, you cannot control what other people say here. If you let them affect you negatively, that's all on you.

But which "truth". You only have to look at the climate change and vaccination threads to see how the real truth is suppressed, and popular misconceptions dominate. But I agree that public discussion is good, and sometimes it leads to the conversion of the misguided and uneducated.

That's one of the great things about this place, I can call you a used tampon for your really childish and moaning post. This is a forum of people from all manner of backgrounds, education, levels of wealth - there will always be conflict and jealousy that will always lead to differences of opinion.

I personally believe that little flowers like yourself should not be allowed on the internet as you might be offended by something, you on the other hand probably believe that someone as offensive as me shouldnt be here either - luckily only I am right in this regards.

There are so many different boards on this forum, and yet  by the look of your post history you mostly spend your time in Meta, Reputation and Politics&Society- exactly those boards where people usually argue about stuff.

On top of that, this is internet forum, and it's main purpose is an exchange of ideas and opinions, and sometimes those clash. And that's what makes this place   great-people can freely express their opinion, more than any other forum i know. No one that is using forums long enough doesn't expect  to hold hands and sing kumbaya anyway.

Luckily the handbaggings are restricted to specific areas of the forum. I've no idea why people bother getting involved in it but if it keeps them content and off the streets I wish them all the luck in the world.

You can ignore the users or the boards you want, the ignore button for a certain user is in plain sight and ignoring board/s can be found on your profile setting.

I think it will never end. I've been here for 5 years and there always was more or less drama. No matter you like or hate it, I think it's normal thing. People have different opinions snd views, so it's normal that they can't agree on all questions. And sometimes it looks really childish. There is some never ending wars between users and it's obvious that none of users won't be able who is right and who is wrong there. Personally, I don't like it and I'm trying to stay I away from all these dramas. I can suggest it to you also. I just have better things to do in my life than fight internet wars on online forum.

This forum is an extremely diverse place. There are many users from different backgrounds holding different points of views. Some form of misunderstanding or difference of opinions will inevitably happen if anything because of the sheer volume of registered users.
