The vast majority of low-quality exchanges overchange customers on withdrawal fees simply as a way to generate additional revenue.
Next time, you'll learn to check all of the fees at an applicable exchange, not just the trading fees.

I think all of the exchanges does have the same fee charge and but different with the confirmation, as i experienced before that i tried withdrawing in Poloniex before it took days before it got posted on my wallet which is really inconvenience.
That is why we cannot avoid this fee when making a transaction and only to lessen the charge is to convert them to an altcoin that is in low value and if you have a local digital wallet that can convert just like in my country it would be convenience and no hassle at all.

it is the same amount for the most of the exchanges. it seems high to you because you may trying to withdraw 150$ or so btc from the exchange. 0.001btc is almost 8$ fee for the withdrawal which does not seems high if you own at least 1 btc. but irony is that fee is fixed even for small values. try to use binance this fee can be cut into half like 0.005000 if you use bnb for paying the fees.

The usual BTC withdrawal fee is around 0.0005 BTC on many exchanges. You can trade the BTC to altcoins(LTC, DOGE, XRP) for the cheap withdrawal. Later use the coin swap instant exchange services for receiving the BTC. Btw, you can compare the withdrawal fees here: https://withdrawalfees.com/coins/bitcoinThanks for the link because provided all the necessary information about exchange site withdrawing fee but it sad to see that there are some exchange site which even require withdrawing fee thats than the exchange in the subject. It's the first time I am hearing this exchange and they are probably not that good especially when their withdrawal fee is that high, they are almost charging you around 9$ just to make a withdrawal from them and I call that a robbery even if you are trading thousands of dollars or more with their platform. Comparing them to Binance which they currently have 0.0005BTC as a withdrawal fee for Bitcoin their prices are really high which is double compared to Binance. Really the only way on how you will mitigate this is to trade with a large capital big enough that it can justify the withdrawal fee. Also hodling it inside an exchange isn't advisable or an option if you are just avoiding the withdrawal fee, you'll just be risking your money if you continue to hold it their.
This is the first time I'm hearing about the exchange site either and surprised to know that the exchange site have been in existence since 2008-07-28 and also listed on capital market.

That is really on the high side, sometimes this fees scare investors/traders away and before you know it the trading volume in that exchange tend to be less, well in instances like this the best one can do is to convert their bitcoin or ethereum to another cheaper altcoin with that the fee would be less.

How many exchanges you know of that have too high withdrawal fee? I was shocked that Dcoin exchange wants 0.001 for any bitcoin withdrawal you want to make while other exchanges charges only 5000 Satoshi for bitcoin withdrawal, I was forces to exchange my bitcoin for litecoin before getting my coins out
Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot that you can do about it. Exchanges set the rules, whether or not they may be fair and if you use their service, you have to agree to their terms and conditions of services. There is no way around that. As you say, there are ways to circumvent what some exchanges have in high fees by converting to another altcoin and then exchanging it using an instant exchanger which has relatively low fees (at least in terms of transaction fees). This only works for small amounts, though.

I have also experienced the same thing several times due to high fees. I forget the name, which is clearly a new exchange, I use the exchange because of the reward bounty. Well, usually I move it to another exchange after exchanging it for more general coins. Although fees are also affected by your gas price and nominal withdrawal, each exchange has its own rules regarding withdrawal fees. Here are a few comparisons:

I have even never heard about the said exchange. How do you even discover and end up using such unpopular exchanges with zero reputation and an absolutely shit trade volume? Why not stick with the more popular and trustworthy exchanges which even charge much lower fees? This is how people end up getting scammed This thread is a good guide to different exchanges and their fees; Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!]

Not all exchange market have the same fee charges and many of exchange have different payment fee but you can convert first you withdrawing ethereum or bitcoin become with doge coin or you can use litecoin for withdrawing, you can get little fee payment when withdrawing use altcoin like ltc, doge and you can use XRP to get little fees. Please don't tell me you are serious. Exchanges are used for converting one crypto currency to another. So, a user might deposit doge coin and might want to convert it to bitcoin. The solution you mentioned is not viable in this case. Even when exchanging between coins, there are fees that has to paid. So, eventually you will be spending almost the same and won't be saving anything. Why not use another exchange that has lower fee? (make sure you read the reviews before using it).

nominal fees (0.001) are almost similar to mercatox, and are also calculated progressively based on the amount sent, it is better to use trx or altcoin which is often used for low fee transactions, withdrawal fees for bitcoin are quite expensive, almost the same as usdt. The rules about it are purely from their exchange policy, but not all are like that.

With some well-known exchanges in the market, the withdrawal fees are very uniform. Only for some altcoins to go to special exchanges to trade, those exchange transaction fees and Bitcoin withdrawal fees are particularly expensive. We can withdraw to other mainstream currencies to reduce our costs. It is recommended to trade to mainstream exchanges.

I think even if we change to another altcoin it is still feasible if you take into account more detailed examples of exchange transaction fees may only be 0.01% and then if you count again it is more efficient and still good for saving when we use another altcoin TRX example, if you use doge on yobit. it's still expensive for a fee of 500 doge

actually the size of the exchange fee depends on the quality of the exchange itself because they take advantage of the withdrawal fees and trading transaction fees to avoid losses, but we as users must be smart in choosing cheap digital money, which is usually that I use TRX to move my assets as usual cheap withdrawal
Reputable exchange usually only charge 0.0005 or less and I think 0.001 is too much. If the condition of blockchain network is overcrowded that it forces us to pay for high fee then it's tolerable but right now the fee required for a transaction is so cheap. Maybe the exchange forget that it's not 2017 anymore and that high fee can be considered ridiculous.

Almost all of the exchange sites were putting this amount as the withdrawal fees. I think if OP wanna get a small fee and then just try to convert it into ethereum and im always using this way to get small fees. That chart needs to be updated.

How many exchanges you know of that have too high withdrawal fee?
I don't know how you determine "too high WD fees". Everyone may have different perceptions related to too high or not the WD fees. However, you must know that there are a lot of exchanges in the world. Just choose the exchanges that you think have low WD fees. You can ask on their telegram group or googling to know the information about WD fees. I was shocked that Dcoin exchange wants 0.001 for any bitcoin withdrawal
Why you are shocked? Don't you know that WD fees for Bitcoin commonly higher than altcoins? By the way, it means you don't find out the information about WD fees before you trade or create an account there. It is a bad mistake, buddy! Don't try before you know well everything.

Well, it is really surprisibg to see how exchanges deals with transactions especially the withdrawal fees, but to consider, exchanges varies depending on the cryptocurrency that we are trying to withdraw out of the market. In fact, you could first trade the crypto you want to some altcoina that are wvidently low in transafxtion fee in terms of withdrawal. And then, try to convert the altcoin back to BTC in ylur preferred local exchange if you want.

I agree that many exchange have high withdrawal fee for bitcoin, you should search an exchange with lower withdrawal fee as there are already other exchanges who have way low withdrawal fee for bitcoin and are some with 0 fee but need to do kyc.

I think almost all exchanges charge a large withdrawal fee to BTC. Yes, there are differences, but only slightly. The point is the withdrawal fee on the exchange is greater than the withdrawal fee from our personal wallet. Maybe this is one place for the exchange to get profit. But we can overcome by making withdrawals with other coins that are cheaper.

high withdrawal fee is really frustrating of some exchanger most especially bitcoin and ethereum, thats why what i always do is i trade it first to xrp, because i can easily exchange xrp to my local fiat, and what i love most to xrp are fast transaction and low fee. you also try bch but the transaction is not that fast.
