but first, decimated population will lead to decreased demand will lead do lower price of BTC per USD (or per gallon of oil or per pound of potatoes, for that matter).

National service bill is no where near becoming a law, its only been heard once in the house of commons. still has a long way to go. I doubt whether many will be up for this really......

Countries may sever data links with enemy countries to protect themselves from cyber walfare. There will be so many different forks of the Blockchain, cryptos would die.

This is more a media / psychological battle. There's no war yet. Wars today are different. Not even 100 years ago, a soldier killed would mean WAR. Nowadays we get more diplomatic.

WW3 has to be something different. I can't imagine big battle field WW1 style. But I can imagine use of nuclear force.

I think bitcoin relies on a thriving high tech economy in order to have a high value. It's hard to see it being used as a barter tool during an apocalyptic scenario. < that is just dreams of bulls.
