Why does the link appear to indicate a scam/phishing link? Can you prove the relationship between
https://thecryptohopper Dot com and
https://www.cryptohopper.com/?I checked the company and it appears to be real, but the site above gives incorrect information. Can you confirm the link? Social media refer to that site and not the site mentioned in this topic.
It's clearly a scam. Some red flags:
1. The domain name is
1-day old (registered on NameCheap) where
CryptoHopper uses TransIP (928 days old).
2. This website uses Sectigo for its SSL certificate, while the real one uses Cloudflare.
3. OP has been inactive for 1.5 months prior to posting this.
I've also made an account on the real website and then tried to log on to this website using the same credentials, that didn't work (not even an error message).
Ouch, the green trust is probably going to make some of the newbies think that this is legitimate. I'm going to send a message over to Cabalism to remove that (if we can confirm that this isn't this account has been compromised) to ensure that people don't jump on using this because of the green trust.
Wish the forum had 2FA or something along those lines to prevent this, but I guess it isn't possible at the moment.
Edit: Cabalism has updated his trust, back to neutral this hacked account goes
