The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted digital payment processor Square a U.S patent for a cryptocurrency payment network that allows users of different asset types to transact with one another in real time. The new system converts payments made in fiat to non-fiat instruments and vice versa.

The app already accept debit and credit card payments with the Square Reader for magstripe, and access your funds in only 1 - 2 business days. (which is more than great for Card payments).

Isn't it too long to access our funds that needs up to 1 - 2 business days? It looks like that this news different with it as it takes 10 minutes (maximum estimation) to create a single tx to the another user. CMIIW

Square is a popular app and it's one of the companies that supports crypto. Soon other payment methods like this will follow what Square is doing.

And the CEO of it is none other Jack Dorsey who claimed himself as a bitcoin supporter.
