They're keeping their own prices down by having no utility, no development, no community and no users. Any instrument that is used purely for speculation will eventually crash to nothing. altcoin prices are good or not honestly no one knows because the market is very fluctuating, we just hope that with many important things happening this year can push up prices for the better.
