Longer races (like 24h) is more ideal for me. Most of the time when you host races, I am at work or busy doing other stuff. With a 24h race, you have more than enough time to play when you want. Amount of people that participate in such a race will probably be much higher compared to the 1h race.

Good thing that you do make out both options neither a short or long race because each player does have its own preference depending on the availability on where they do tend to engage on.

If I'm a casino owner, I'll prefer to have longer races because it will give more wagered amount which means higher chance to get more profit from players. As a player, as what I said previously, longer races gives more chances and times for players to wager on their best time. Although I'm a gambler who do not like to participate on such races, but I choice goes to longer races obviously.
