Nice catch @op, this deserves flag imo.

What's funny is that beside plagiarized Mindsync whitepaper, these scammers went step further and used their team members  as their own, with their LinkedIn profile links .
All 4 of those can be found on the Mindsync website . As someone said, scammers are pretty stupid sometimes.

So I went to the robobit telegram channel to ask how are they related but the team from mindsync were already there.

I was expecting a "we hired someone else to write the whitepaper for us" excuse for the plagiarism but the robobit admin has this to say "Web developer made this mistake we are very sorry for this give us 30 minutes only". I imagine the guys from mindsync team laughing hard upon reading that lame excuse.

Haha yeah, i was just about to upload the same conversation. As always, it was just  mistake , wrong click of a mouse button so their web developer copied whole whitepaper, picked up 4 team members  and used them as their own etc. It can  happen to anyone

The admin knew very well that they copied another project's WP and "stole" their team member with how quickly he/she responded. They were just hoping not to get caught.

Scamer continues to happen fortunately, all of it has been archived and of course this will be evidence if they delete it.
Maybe there is no good thought or concept so this scmaer copied almost the entire contents of his white paper and this is really embarrassing for him.

Guys, Now we can clear the all problem that had done by our web developer that was very bad. Our team members checked all things but he done some big changes in documents and website also. We banned him after we saw these news. Again I am very sorry for the mistake. Specifically to Mindsync, He made a big scam with our team and our project, sorry for he used your pics and docs.
We hate scammers and we don't scam only he scammed us. WE ARE SORRY TO EVERYONE
We recovered the website and other account that he controlled.

So which is it? A scam or a mistake? The forum has seen several reasons already all served in the same plate and there is really nothing new on blaming it on one team member hoping to get untag from their negative feedback. Changes this big wouldn't go unnoticed especially if you "checked all things" as physical changes from both your website and whitepaper is something the rest of your members has access on. But for us to be fair I don't think it will hurt us to learn more how this web developer has "scammed" you and why plagiarizing a whitepaper and changing your website is one of his motives?

Probably they are already back.

After all, what did they lose with this, just a random name they've picked and a cheap domain name?
Probably they are rebranding right now as Cyberbits or Ultratron or Bitfucks, plagiarizing some other whitepaper and stealing pictures.
It's an easy job and if they get a moron willing to throw 2 ETH in the hole they made their weekly quota.

Whenever I hear those "teams' scrambling for pictures I'm amazed how they have the guts to ask for days to put some pics.
I've been away with my family for 2 days in a mountain resort, I've taken like one hundred pics and shared a lot with my family and my wife posted a lot of them even on social media yet those "team" can't take a damn selfie and put it online but they have a technical solution to end world hunger or cure aids with a token.
