I only gamble on sports betting especially during NBA season and Dota tournaments. I don't like playing on casinos like roulettes, cards, slots, etc. as I feel it's just a waste of money.
It takes one in a million to win on those types of games and often addicting as I see to people playing it.
I only play those together with my friends or relatives.

that only shows that you gamble rarely because those seasons and tourna's are taking a long time to happen  .

 sports betting is still gambling and didnt differ to casino games especially on dice or some games that has a 2x to 1x payout because the chance is still fifty fifty ( 50/50 ) nothing guarantees on your pick teams that you think the best   .  all gambling game kinds are still addicting depending on the person   .

I only gamble occasionally or if i’m bored because it is one way for me to get away with boredom and for me gambling shouldn’t be done everyday because if you do so then it will lead to addiction and once you got addicted it is very hard to stop and what’s even worst is you will lose everything along the way.

It seems that you are rarely gamble. There is not wrong with that, you just want to play only with those game that you are interested and doing as well, casinos is not your ideal nor your game. I also gamble in mobile legends tournament, as well boxing especially when it is Pacquiao, and sometimes I gamble in an online casino of I have time.

I think gambling has a time, because I have experienced gambling on my own every day and every time in the past, but as time goes by addiction to gambling can be abandoned but it depends on one's mindset. The chances for him to get addicted to gambling will wide open if he cannot manage his emotion because gambling will always tempt him to continue playing. We tend to play more and more in gambling because betting can make us curious, especially if we get lost many times. We can forget about controlling ourselves, limiting the money, and perhaps, we will forget about how long we needed to playing gambling.

No matter what it is, we always need to control the desire in ourselves not to become bigger, so we can stick to our plan on how many times we gamble in a week. But that will not be easy to do as we know that we are weak with the tempting.

I think not all can be called this addiction, it's just a simple entertainment which suffice the people needs in order to satisfy ourselves. I think most here will agree with me. Other's think of every day gambling as addiction but that isn't the case or reason why I gamble. I did lose $200 last week but at least I enjoyed the time I play it even though I lose.

Just because you gamble everyday doesn't mean you are a gambling addict.

Most people gamble just as a form of entertainment and as long as they know their limits and they stick to them, they are not considered addicts whether they gamble once a week or 7 days a week.

Its the same with alcohol and other forms of addictions. There are people who drink everyday (Like Beer or Wine) and they are not addicts because it doesn't affect their daily life. They still work and maintain a good life. While there are others who are drunk all the time and can't drive, or go to work.

As long as its not affecting your life in a negative way then its not considered a problem then its not considered an addiction.

Agree to this man at all point. Since, by defintion addiction is a harmful need of something to regularly do it, and that must be regulated especially when it becaming harmful or simply not right anymore. But the thing is, people do have different perceptions of what addiction is, like what the OP said.

reality?addiction needs cure mate because this is mental sickness,the desire of something even you are always losing is surely a not a normal people wants to do right?(though there are some cases that it can be done by self perseverance)

Anyway, going back to the topic. In my case, I don't gamble everyday, and not a twice a week either. It depends on, if I want to kill some time when I don't have any particular things to do. Imo, people could get over their certain addictions, and so gambling addiction is. The just need a solid catalyst to proceed to it. Some solid catalyst that would force them to change pace sometimes.

well i agree on this because i have a friend that use to be addicted and what change His way?when people around him(including me)keeps the distance because he often ask us for borrowing money or lending some of his things just to gamble,and one time we give Him ultimatum that if he did not change then we will forget about our friendship and that made him decide to change path and be with us for good.

Addiction is not about the time you spent on gambling or about how often you do it. Addiction is about self control, gambling everyday cant be called as addiction as long as we know our time limit as well as limit of funds.
Addiction is more about when we cant control ourselves and it affects our daily life especially related to financial situation.
Back to the main question, how often I do gamble? I cant answer it in exact time because I do gamble whenever I want only.

I think you have a point, you just playing because you are enjoying gambling in your daily life and it can help you to made your day, there is no wrong with that, as long as you will manage your time and money as well as you can moderate your spending. There is no wrong with that, self control is needed, I am gambling as well but in control.

Yes I am gambling everyday or sometimes twice a week but it depends on the time because I also doing some things in school and work and sometimes it is very hard for me to manage my time because I am a student and doint part time job and joining some bounties and signature campaigns so it is kind of hard to manage my time in terms of so many activities that I am doing.
Actually I can stop gambling especially if I am noticing that my salary is going to lose and I don't have any budget on playing or budget in school and etc.

good that you are managing it well?because it is hard to resist continuing when we are losing and have still money in our pocket.

For someone who isnt addicted to gambling, you might have done well and only bet on the desired mood and circumstances. Whether we gamble or not often depends on our playing habits, and I think for those gambling addicts, they can bet more often even when their mood is not good.
