I've been spectating and researching different structures of how people distribute their coins and tokens. None the less i have found 2 popular methods one of them being Airdrops and the other being ICO or people buying the token/coin itself. Needless to say there are pros and cons to both methods but i still want to know which one is more effective and which one also builds more value into the project. As usual any thoughts or comments are more than welcome. Thanks.

ICO used to, but IEO most upcoming projects go for and it's more valuable especially if conducted on a big exchange.
Only few out of many projects that airdropped their token survived, but not performing up to expectations because most airdropper won't care to sell at any price which brings zero value to the project.
So it's better to focus mainly on conducting IEO and airdropping few out of the supply.
