I almost agree. From an economic standpoint, mining has to be a lose money situation, or a thing that is done ONLY if you can't buy BTC. With Bitcoin prices more stable at say $1, they would be a more viable currency, I understand that. I was just sitting with my jaw dropped as it happened.

I mine. And I dunno about that whole "stable currency" stuff -- if I want to use my BTC, I use my BTC. Right now I have a short position on bitcoinica which is the only reason I want to see price drop. |
