I think there are possibilities that Corona virus can effect the Bitcoin market. Because China has a big market of Bitcoin and people in China are badly effected by this virus and they are not stable mentally. So this  situation can effect on Bitcoin trade as the business activities are effected by Corona virus. But i hope it will not effect badly .

What does corona virus have to do with bullish bitcoin ?? any effects
I already have seen multiple threads about this kind of topic, and i have always been saying that corona virus and other diseases will not have an effect in the crypto market or the price of bitcoin because it will not help to increase bitcoin adaptation and thiis kind of problem will only have an effect on the global economy because a lot of people might die.

I want to share with you a link that talks about the relationship of the cryptocurrency price with coronavirus: https://www.coindesk.com/how-coronavirus-outbreak-in-china-could-weigh-on-crypto-prices One of the theories of the rise in the price of bitcoin is related to the fact that Chinese specialists can not leave their homes because of the quarantine. And they can spend more time exploring the cryptocurrency market.

Both are very different. There is no relationship between viruses and digital currencies. The Corona virus is caused by people in Wuhan eating animals such as Bats and Rats. Maybe it is an old tradition in China. so Viruses and digital currencies have nothing to do.

What does corona virus have to do with bullish bitcoin ?? any effects
Actually I don't see any effect of the corona virus that is spreading in China and in the Philippines right now because at the first place there is no any reason why would the market will react on that because it is a merely virus and it doesn't effect any electronic things like computers and internet even though the blockchain nor the cryptocurrency because there are no reason why a merely virus can be a reason why the bitcoin market will go up and down.
Kindly do some research about the corona virus and what are the effects of it to the other person not in the bitcoin market because absolutely there is no connection with it.

What does corona virus have to do with bullish bitcoin ?? any effects
Like what mostly said here, I don't see that corona virus got to do with the recent uprise of bitcoin price. You know what, actually what I expected is that the price will fluctuate downwards because we all know that China is a big part of our crypto community so since they are now facing inactivity then so as the price. But it didn't happen so it was a good news for us afterall — btc continue to rise which means the spread of virus really don't affect the market Smiley.

there is no any effect to the bitcoin market mate ,corona virus only exists in China the plague cannot spread because the air will be clean instantly in the wind broom ,forget it because the crypto market does't shake like that the price will also not be infected with the corona virus ,your topic similarity you can read here too https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5220634.msg53698107#msg53698107 will help you even though different words but the contents are almost same

Very disturbing news from China, and I think it is not necessary to link the trouble of people with the potential benefit of a possible increase in the price of cryptocurrency.

What does corona virus have to do with bullish bitcoin ?? any effects
There is nothing to relate the corona virus with the bitcoin Market trend. Everytime by the days of Chinese New Year there'll be growth, and the same has taken place this year with the price of bitcoin crossing above $9000. There is no celebration or partying out of the corona virus, upon the same there could be downtrend, luckily the market keeps moving forward.

My guess is it is because the stock market has moved downwards. It is common for cryptocurrencies to act bullish whenever the stock market is bearish. Having said that, the Wuhan virus allegedly affects the stock market and other commodities. I found this on the web https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/28/business/coronavirus-financial-markets.html

addendum: I found this article first thing in the morning. https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-rallies-to-near-9150-as-stocks-drop-over-coronavirus-fears

Of course there is no direct connection between these events.

But given that the entire financial market is falling, and bitcoin is growing, then maybe it's attracting investors attention.

Viruses like this should not be able to control the price movements of bitcoin but the bad possibility is to make a lot of people who have assets in the form of bitcoin sell it and make it into local money because they want to secure their assets, so you have to be careful that there is no worse news so it will not influence the bitcoin price movements at the exchange place.

I don't see the connection between corona virus and the market and only few people got corona virus so not really affected in the market, but if thousands of people get infected of the virus, maybe the market will collapse.
most of those infected with the corona virus are Chinese and that's it has absolutely no effect on the market. I think the effect of the corona virus from China has nothing to do with the Bitcoin market. I agree with you if everyone in this the world is infected with this deadly virus then the market will collapse in no time.

there is no major impact on the bitcoin market, it is likely that the impact will be felt on the global economy, and hopefully coronavirus will not spread throughout the world, so as not to cause something fatal in the future.

I don't know why you connect corona disease with bitcoin Huh because in my opinion this has nothing to do at all. If this virus spreads throughout the world, not only will bitcoin be destroyed, but global markets and the world economy will also be destroyed because no one will leave house. but we hope they will soon find an antiviral from this disease, because all diseases have antidote and can be cured

What does corona virus have to do with bullish bitcoin ?? any effects
People started to think that there's a relation about the bullish attitude of bitcoin and why it's becoming into a crazy run now. I guess the idea started out when the possible WW3 was about to start because the market did a crazy bullish move during that time. If we are to compare with the corona virus and the potential WW3 then it only means that people are saving their wealth through bitcoin. They are putting their money on bitcoin so that whether there wll be a massive destruction of lands and infrastructures, their saved wealth won't be affected through bitcoin.

What does corona virus have to do with bullish bitcoin ?? any effects

I will believe it if Bitcoin has a huge 10% jump but the price movement is not moving drastically it is growing organically or natural which is expected because of the halving season, and I don't think the Corona virus has something to do with and speculators are quick to attach this Corona Virus to the price movement.

I think Bitcoin is more likely to suffer from the coronavirus epidemic than get any benefits in this crisis.

Bitcoin is a physical asset.
As far as we know from experience during global crises and disasters, people prefer to have in their hands the values of the physical world such as cash:
gold,
jewelry,
medicines,
food,
water,
gasoline.
Bitcoin will not make sense if it can not be exchanged for anything from the above list.

During crises, we do not know how much Bitcoin will be in demand in markets of this type, but we know what will be in demand exactly.
People would rather exchange their bitcoins for cash to buy medicine during the coronovirus epidemic than vice versa.
