Well , i think all of you maybe already heard about McAfee prediction of bitcoin price, and well,it make a huge attention,also some newcomers come to this forum and asked about it,on last year btw.
but today, I heard the news about that old man, and it seemed like a rebuttal to his predictions a few years ago.
According to his tweet , he just say Bitcoin is no more than shitcoin. Its a kinda funny actually , it seems he try to avoid about betting the price with his dikk.
Or for another reason probably he need more job like zombie coin from china a year ago, and he make a new attention .

Funny how he and a few other people(a.k.a. Twitter XRP bots and ETH supremacists) call bitcoin "outdated" and "the hotmail of crypto"(from one of the Tweet's replies), but yet not one other cryptocurrency has come close to what Bitcoin is today and what it has achieved. I don't get how they could call something that people widely use "outdated", even though it doesn't even a better alternative. Not even close.

A couple of weeks ago there've been already some articles and at least one thread on Bitcointalk about his change of heart. It was about another tweet where he says that his price prediction was a ruse or something (see here, for example). In that tweet, he already called Bitcoin 'ancient' and praised blockchain and smart contracts in opposition to it. Oh, and in this newer tweet, he's basically expressing the same crazy 'Altcoin superiority' idea. I think that this 'prediction' is just as crazy as BTC going to cost $1million by the end of the year, to be honest.

This dude has never got my attention he is always looking like a pendulum in every decision he makes. He says this today and says the exact opposite. i am sure it's just a shill to cause people to sell whiles he accumulates much into his holdings. I don't know why some crypto projects actually get him on board as an advisor because he has developed a bad reputation in this industry and that is surely going to go against any marketing.

Because though he is really a heavily controversial person, his name still has some weight in it for being the founder of the famous but crappy McAfee Antivirus. Especially in 2017, having his name on a certain project's team page gives the illusion that that certain project is legitimate/relevant. Fortunately, for all the stupid things he's said(especially the tweet in question), he's slowly but surely losing relevancy and reputation even in the cryptocurrency markets.


EDIT: So it seems like on the 2 projects he heavily shilled(Skycoin and Apollo) and whereas he's supposed to be a team member, apparently his name is no longer on the team pages. Freakin LOL. Shilling failed.

Those who have expected something better from him, I guess he failed you guys. He didn't maintain the 'reputation' that he has although he has done things before such as shilling and betting with d*** for the price of bitcoin. He's all in for the attention now and I think there's no more left from him.
There's nothing to expect with him even since he had shilled altcoins on his twitter account and many were encouraged and believed for the meanwhile with his predictions but suddenly when we're starting to realize how huge was that price, we're all enlightened.

It was actually a diversion so that he wont eat up his own d*ck on national television yet his predication it didnt turn out well for him and now he makes a u-turn and saying Bitcoin is a shitcoin.

C'mon old man, this wont work out and no matter what words would come out into your mouth would be already a complete joke for the entire community but of course there are fools
who would really still believe to this crap.

McAfee is a wild bitcoin crusader and it is expected to see some extremist in every movement. Sadly he had been responsible for some scam and fraud in this space. He had always predicted outrageous price and I believe he pays the media to post the predictions. As an old man he does it without concern on his dignity and I think most long time bitcoiners dont consider any of his predictions. Any coin or project that got mcafee on his team just lost the crypto community trust.

I don't want to listen to John all the time but it seems like he and Roger have something to convey to all of us. Thus, I somehow agree with the idea of bitcoin not becoming the king in a few years. The users need not just storage of value but also fast transactions and low fees. BCH would be a great alternative. Please don't hate it.

This man has become a joke or is just trolling us lol. This is old new by the way. He knew he made wrong prediction and is now showing excuses. If i recall correctly, he probably said that he made this prediction just to create a hype and see how people reacts or something like this. This is really sad that he is calling bitcoin a shitcoin. I wouldn't be surprised to see him making his own crypto currency.

It's a wrong time time for John to change his mind about Bitcoin just when Bitcoin price is moving forward, he just want to save his face by turning around, he has so much believe on Bitcoin back then.now he is calling it a shitcoin because he is promoting other coin, he just ruin his credibility if there is still left by this action.

haha, he is trying to re-start his shitcoin pumping campaigns on twitter again because he saw that bitcoin price is starting to enter the big bull market this year and he expects that he can make the same profit from newbies as he did back in 2017 by scamming them the same way that is telling them some shitcoin(s) are good investments then dumping on their heads.

Mr McAfee    always have some hidden agenda. He will do anything for some extra money and some more attention and this is just one of his latest antics to get that. Saying something controversial will once again put the spotlight on him and that keeps him relevant on social media.

He needs to stay in the public eye, because he presumably charge people to promote their sh1tcoins/tokens on his social media accounts. So it will make sense for him to bash Bitcoin, in the hope that people might buy the other sh1tcoins that he is promoting. 

One day you are willing to place your manhood on the line for Bitcoin and the next moment you call it a Sh1tcoin? Do you also smell something suspicious here?
