David Chaum caught my attention back in the days when he was working on his previous project. After a very long long time I see a project worth investing my money.Though I see the XX coin didn't reach the hard cap yet while the big name is enough to raise that much in days! Are you guys lacking on marketing or it just the bear market caused the lack of funding? Though 1 year lock up played a vital role IMO & is too much like other people mentioned though in one way it's good for investors as i don't think any pump or dump group will join this token sale.
The team answered about the 1-year lockup reason already check the first page of this thread. The lock-up period is for securities regulatory compliance.

I still don't understand why they are blocked for 1 year.
Although there were previously stated reasons. 1 year may be overestimated. Because in 1 year the cryptographic evolution is substantial
It is even possible that within a few months a new project of this kind will surface and surpass your technology.
In addition, the security and reliability of the project is a plus. But the point of talking about KYC when there is a hint of user privacy is not serious
Do you perform tests regarding quantum computers?
I think the primary concern on why the project is going to locked it for one year is because of manipulation. I'm sure you heard so many great projects in the past, but once it hits or listed on an exchange, suddenly a dump happen. And this is why the project is trying to avoid. As for as if there are projects that are going to surface and surpass their technology, you can't avoid that as you have said, crypto sphere is evolving. But what this project will do for angel or early investors is that they are being protected from manipulations and pump-and-dump schemes. |

What do you mean that it is not ideal? Investors are just getting smarter nowadays and wouldn't just put their hard earn money to ICO's just popping around the corner. With that said, if they would just look at this project, they might find it interesting and who knows, just maybe there are investors who are willing to take the risk. |

May I know how much you raised from the sale? Why you chose ICO instead of IEO or you are being self-funded? This project looked great but I think you have a lack of promotion because not many people know about this XX coin!

Our consensus and tokens use only to use quantum-secure cryptographic primitives known as pseudorandom functions. These are known to be secure against (though weakened by) quantum computers. We use hash functions as the core primitive in all of our signatures and the security of these functions is based on the inability for any computer (even a quantum computer) to be able to determine the input of a hash function based on its output. By increasing the size of the hash image we use, we sufficiently protect against the ability of a quantum computer to weaken its security (see the Birthday paradox and Grover's algorithm). The results of their sale is really interesting for me to know as they have David Chaum on board. can he really pull good money into this project? I hope the team will disclose the real numbers of their sale status after this initial public sale. The amount raised will give you a hint if this project can really entice investors even if ICOs or token sales are not a thing anymore. Their target cap on this stage is $15M, are they going to achieve this target? Let's see...  |
