It's time for revenge. We should create some jokes about gold.
"I didn't forget where I buried my gold.My gold forgot where it was buried!"
"I have gold, but my bank don't wants to give it to me.They forgot my password."
"I have gold, but no Mcdonalds or KFC accepts gold payments,so I'm starving to death."

Wouldn't affect him. He was too busy creating false information about Bitcoin to think of the possible consequences (being embarrassed by everyone). The man has a net worth of +$70M. No matter what anyone says, he's going to be against BTC and pro Gold.. that's his business.

I cannot believe a guy like that would go out and make himself look so stupid,,, then again maybe all of his followers agree and they do not really understand Bitcoin. It is like all those guys you see coming into casinos online and saying they lost 10x in a row so their math is good they should not lose, their casino is the one cheating;)
"I did not lose my money, the bank lost my money." - Joke but also legit;)

It is like a religion thing, most of the people will said they will not change their religion because it is the religion where they are born into. My point here is that you can't force them to like the things you like, we have different beliefs when it comes to things, if he believes that gold will give him a lot of wealth than bitcoin, then let him be, though it is crystal clear that bitcoin gives more profit than gold.
People like him have eyes but he choose not to see things, even if you have basis and proofs that bitcoin is better, he will still choose gold because of his pride of gold.

But if all of us help each other and unite in order to protect btc then it will be a great thing to shut his mouth. If he wants war, then let's give him war . By the way, here's my entry. Saying "Old but gold" is out, "Old and outdated gold" is in. Hahaha lmfao .

He doesn't pose a threat to Bitcoin in any way, the only "threat" is that he's going to influence the people who believe in him - but he already did that, didn't he? A so-called war between Gold & Bitcoin cannot even be started, because they're two completely different things except the fact that they're both considered commodities and Bitcoin is considered the "Digital Gold". Besides these two similarities, they're like A and B. It's funny though how he owned Bitcoin people donated him and even accepts BTC on his website. Like I hate PayPal so much.... if you want to buy something from me, I only accept PayPal

Comparing Gold to BTC is just a wast when it comes to letting people become free to choose what decision they should make. Maybe we have different perspective on how we should treat both of this investment platform, some may see that gold is more valuable that is because they are more exposed in it, rather than bitcoin that is in fact, for us is achieving greater heights, because for us, the reason why bitcoin will increase too much than what it is now is the scarcity and the increasing adoption or demand we have over time.

Haha, the heck with that logic? Do our wallets have their own heads and brains to forget and to remember? Come on Peter Schiff, if you're just here and reading the comments of everyone, I guess you'll be triggered and will just argue about the comparison and why gold is better than bitcoin. Maybe, we'll see it soon and he will say that his bitcoins were hijacked by an exchange because he has sent it there.

It's like paying for cigarettes at a convenience store and telling the cashier your wallet forgot to bring your debit card. That's the level Schiff is operating on here, and no doubt he doesn't care what kind of ridicule he gets if he's got millions in the bank.
How the hell did this guy earn his money, anyway? I've always suspected gold permabulls to care far more about fiat than they do about gold, because the whole time they're telling you how great an investment gold is, they're actually trying to sell it to you....for fiat. That's why sites like coinflation.com with all of their articles that keep repeating the same thing over and over drive me nuts--gold is real money, it's scarce, blah blah blah.
Schiff will never live this one down, at least not in the crypto world. I'm sure most of his goldbug followers won't see the problem, though there's enough of a crossover between interest in bitcoin and gold that some of them will realize what a tool he was during this debacle.

Is that really yours? Regardless, thanks for the laughs! It's the best post on crypto twitter yet Stupid wallet forgetting the password of a millionaire that knows a lot about bitcoin even though he got them only as a gift. I'm pretty sure that wallet couldn't even face itself in the mirror for all the shame he caused to the bitcoin community

I think someone should go and tell him that there is something called Password reset and he can also message the following company and ask them about it , if it is really so.. Wallet company already know him ofc since he is apparently popular so he can claim the bitcoins and it won't be a problem .

No matter what anyone says, he's going to be against BTC and pro Gold.. that's his business. Unfortunately, that seems more or less true. However, it's not like he is impenetrable, not like nothing gets to him. In fact, when he decided to attack Bitcoin by writing that he lost all of it because his wallet 'got corrupted somehow', reputable media websites like Forbes and CCN wrote articles about it being an attack on Bitcoin and that what he claims is not possible. So then he had to admit that it was not Bitcoin being corrupted, it was him being dumb about a password. Now, it seems, he decided to take a step back once again and pseudo-blame Bitcoin, but it does not even look serious. The fact that he is writing such ridiculous stuff means that he's out of options, and he was pushed to admit that the loss was his own fault.

The dude contradicted absolutely everyone claiming it's not BITCOIN's fault but his. The later statement when he said it was him forgetting the password came way later, when mass media called it a Bitcoin attack. How come when your followers are telling you that it's not Bitcoin's fault you say "the wallet forgot my password, it wasn't me" but when mass media claims it was an attack against Bitcoin you suddenly admit that you were wrong? The dude FUDs Bitcoin like once every few tweets. He's never praised how well and good Bitcoin was when his wallet was working flawlessly, but once he forgets his password Bitcoin is shit..

It's not needed, mate. Just wasting our efforts and time only. The best way is to ignore him (don't follow what he does on twitter). There are many people outside always trying to make FUDs or wrong information, for example: Craig Wright. If we show our enthusiasm to them, then they have succeeded in influencing us.

That’s a really dumb joke, how does a wallet forget its password, how is that even possible? So it’s probably that he forgot his password. I don’t know why people are fond of looking for ways to discourage others from making use of cryptocurrency, while the mistake is from them. They really need to learn to accept their mistake and stop blaming it on cryptocurrency and saying that it’s a scam.
I can remember that when I started making use of Bitcoin I made the mistake of not copying down my wallet ID and when I uninstalled and reinstalled the wallet due to a certain problem I had on my device, I wasn’t able to login and that’s when I realized that I didn’t have my wallet ID and I understood that it was my mistake, there is no one to blame.

How the hell did this guy earn his money, anyway?
Like most people get their extraordinary wealth: he "earned" it from his parents. Schiff Sr. was a really interesting guy -- far so more than his son. For one, he died in prison protesting the federal income tax. He stopped paying taxes in 1974 and encouraged his followers to do so, who of course ended up owing the IRS a combined $56 million. Irwin himself was on the hook for somewhere between $2 and $8 million, depending on what time span you go by. I first heard of Peter Schiff in 2008 when he was credited for more or less calling the recession. I followed him for about two years, but then I realized he was just another talking head cult of personality that depended on sensationalism. He's been wrong about pretty much everything (his financial forecasts, sans his gold obsession at times) for the last ten years.

who said he is against bitcoin? just because someone spreads nonsense FUD about bitcoin in the media and on the internet doesn't mean they are against it. you'd be surprised how many of the FUDsters are hard core believers in bitcoin who are buying lots of it every chance they get.

Lol that image, we will need smarter wallets in the future, we can't allow our wallets to forget our passwords. How could he openly say that, blaming the software for his mistake? In the end, bitcoin lessons have a cost, some lessons are cheap but some other don't.
