What matters is it's a proven asset of a new asset class, and if plebs like us truly understood how Bitcoin fundamentally works, its incentive structure, its potential, then we shouldn't be affected by his opinions about Bitcoin. In fact, it's merely laughable. Priceless.

I wasn't referring to you or me when it comes to people like PS - but to all those who know very little or nothing about BTC, and who are influenced by his statements. These people unfortunately believe anyone who is powerful in any sense, no matter what nonsense they say.

In one article, they called him by his real name "the Professional Bitcoin Critic" and I think that describes him in the best way - because the man has been saying for over 10 years that BTC is a scam and a Ponzi scheme, and at the same time the bank he ran went bankrupt due to accusations of mounting tax evasion and money laundering.

Everyone chooses their own company, I just find it strange that someone who understands BTC would want to go to dinner with someone who represents everything that is bad in today's world.

There is a better name for Peter Schiff, "A Delusional Bitcoin Critic" because I don't see Professional is fitted with him.  

With outperformance of Bitcoin against Gold in ROIs since 2009, he is not professional by maintaining his critics against Bitcoin over many years. He ignored many big facts that Bitcoin is better than Gold as a storage of value and even in payment too.

I think he perhaps was informed about this The bullish case for Bitcoin but very likely ignored it. A truly delusional person who has big hate against Bitcoin and don't want to absorb any information that possibly enlighten his stance on Bitcoin.

Otherwise he knew about all these things well, knew that Bitcoin is better than gold, but he has to say crictics because of his company products are around gold.

I don't see anything crazy about Peter Schiff and his sayings about gold and Bitcoin because I have been in this market for a long time, long enough to know his activities and hate against Bitcoin. It can be very crazy with newbies in this market, but with experienced people in this market, they knew well about Peter Schiff and almost ignored what said by this man. Because with their time here, they can predict what Peter Schiff will say about Bitcoin, time to time in many past years and in future years too.

Price of one Bitcoin in US Dollars - $9,300

Price of gold per ounce in US Dollars - $1,570

At the time bitcoin was $9,300, it was a global effect which price was not manipulatable in the market at specific countries only.
So the price of bitcoin then and now in the US is the same in my African country now and then. The decentralized digital assets does not discriminate my country of being underdeveloped or poor to say No, we can not accept the value of bitcoin in the developed top leading World country as US to be same in that of my country, so there is an equity in the bitcoin market.
When gold was $1,570 in the US, foreigners came to my country and negotiated with us and bought an ounce of gold at $330, they manipulates the market with sentiments because we live in the underdeveloped country and lacked education to realize the worth of our treasures of gold.
The central market that was to be trusted due to regulatory order of the government is corrupt with regulatory sentiments while the decentralized market is an equality and unifying.

One thing I'm sure about Bitcoin is that it would prove all critics wrong, I've heard stories that he said Bitcoin would never break $100k, yet it outperformed his negative prediction.

Here's another critic Nick Allen who's ended up bitter and locked in regrets for not having bitcoins when it was cheaper because he doubted it's potentials.

Haha, yes! The price predictions that he posted that "Bitcoin will not surge above high price point" were WRONG, and that nation-states won't consider purchasing Bitcoin - ALSO WRONG!

Although, Gold is in its All Time High, which is also good in my personal opinion. Hard money should increase in value against fiat.

Chance for investing in Bitcoin when it was nothing or was a few cents was not for many people. We must be very lucky to be there years ago but even so we would have sold our bitcoins at very cheap price too.

Yeah, who ever have the financial means and ability but did not invest in bitcoin when they clearly saw the opportunity, and today hating on bitcoin and criticizing it are simply being hurtful in the inside and really need to forgive their self.

What they may not realize is that their criticism to bitcoin is born out of self hate, they hate their self due to that mistake they made, but instead of lashing out that anger on their self, they look for something to lash out the anger on, and in this case, bitcoin become a perfect prey since it is the bone of contention, the reason they can't love their self.

To those of us who do not understand, we see this people as Bitcoin haters, but in reality, they are simply angry with their self because they missed investing in bitcoin early 😁
