I can predict in the future we will see a Criptocoins section in the emoji app. Just as we can see flags nowadays there will be one for coins.

Not really, but still it gives more impact than an ordinary hashtag when reading making a tweet, whereas twitter is considered one of the used social media platform for crypto especially BTC.

Jack Dorsey is definitely a pro-bitcoin guy. I mean, take a look at one of his companies(Square). Not obvious at all..

BTW. How do you add the emoji? I still don't see it when I open a Tweet and add the hashtag. I see the new emojis but on almost every post, it doesn't appear. Also can't seem to do it on mine.

Hit that Tweet button and boom... But in android app, the emoji shows while still typing, not sure in desktop or browser tho.

It's long been overdue, but thanks to Jack anyways, I'm sure BTC haters and shitcoins are going to envy this one. And we all know that Jack is really pro-bitcoin and the timing is perfect with this hashtag release. I mean we're sort on a mini bull run and this kind of marketing is really needed. Twitter has added the emoji as soon as you write #Bitcoin BTC hashtag.
To use it, just type the hashtag of Bitcoin(#Bitcoin) and the emoji will pops up.

I am not a Twitter person, but this is great news! It shows that Bitcoin is becoming a solid part of contemporary culture. Bitcoin emoji might not seem like much, but it increases its noticeability, right? I like it that Jack Dorsey is being so supportive. He tweets positive stuff, he funds the Lightning Network development, his Cash App accepts Bitcoin (at least, this is something I read about a week ago), and now this emoji is just a nice addition to the overall systematically pro-Bitcoin position of an influential person.

So I got curious and want to see it on my own so I tried it as well and both #bitcoin and #btc works. It's nice to see own bitcoin emoji on twitter. It somehow makes me proud about this. We know that the CEO of twitter is very open and vocal towards his acceptance on Bitcoin. And this kind of update on his own app is a great thing. I bet crypto users will often use this hashtag on Twitter now.

same here i dont use twitter but i use other social media specifically fb but yeah its still a good idea to include an emoji like this , this only prove that twitter is also supporting crypto but did the emoji were only depending on the device that we use and not exactly on the platform  ? speaking of device , other devices now like mobile phone  , do also  have a btc emoji  . it was an apple iphone and samsung phone that i see  .  emoji is not small but everyone right now uses an emoji   . it plays a big role on the text or word that you are writing   .

This shows that how important is bitcoin and how fast people will be more knowledgeable about bitcoins. This is a very good move by twitter and since it is in trending, this shows how much it is anticipated by the people.

Just post it and it will be there automatically. It wouldn't show until you tweet/post it.

Jack should've added this earlier but even with this small update, this is huge for the community. Hoping that he won't add those forks icon if they start to request for the same feature.

I don't think so. It technically isn't officially an emoji(yet) because you can't copy paste it like how you can copy paste text. It just appears like an emoji on Twitter's side, but it's actually just an image icon. Without a doubt, we will see that the adoption of Bitcoin is taking place in a great way, the incorporation of the emoji draws attention to people of all kinds, including companies and organizations worldwide, this does not go unnoticed, many may think that Twitter is only a social network that shares information, but goes much further, this is symbolic. Yeap. Though not impossible, it's probably unlikely to happen. Jack Dorsey has been very public about him only owning bitcoin(BTC).
