Should I change my Bitcoin wallet if I use it now https://polehin.com/? I need to hear a person with experience. Which crypto wallets are the safest?
I prefer mobile wallets
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Are you looking for a multi-crypto wallet? If so, you can try Coinomi, not open source but supports a lot of coins and its good. I haven't used any opensource multi-crypto wallets, but if you are looking for one, you can try either Holder wallet or Trust Wallet

Btw, don't use Polehin wallet. Looks like it has lots of red flags dicussed here

Yes change your wallet because after reading the information on their site they seem to be an exchange wallet and most of the things mentioned on their playstore app are about the exchange they're not meant to be used for storing bitcoins.

For good mobile wallets I suggest using the popular wallets like Electrum or Eclair if you want to try out the lightning network.

Quite a claim, don't you think? "Highest level of security" and "only you control your funds", but we can't even confirm both things because your wallet software seems to be closed source? Quite misleading to have a link to your GitHub repository on the bottom of the page but the repository itself isn't even public? It's an easy no for me dawg.

Do not use that crap. It looks like it is closed source.

If you only need wallet for Bitcoin, then Electrum and Mycelium are safest option for mobile device (Android). But no matter how secure those wallet, make sure you're not doing anything stupid (e.g. use weak password, backup mnemonic phrase on digital noted unprotected)

Which crypto wallets are the safest?
I prefer mobile wallets

Your safety depends on a lot of things. For example, there is no 'safest' wallet if you put your seed online without any encryption and publicly accessible.

Most mobile wallets have similar features anyway. I'd go with what ETFbitcoin recommends above. If you use iOS, check the recommendation on the Bitcoin website.

There is nothing with that wallet that prompts you to trust them.
They talked about 50,000 users registered, but there are not many downloads on Google "many reviews are negative."
There is a link to Github, but it appears that the wallet is closed source and they did not download any code.
The site was created since 2018, but the development did not happen and there are not many reviews from the past.

I think you should stay away from these scam wallets.

The user interface is actually really good in my opinion, I'd give them that. But then again, it's a closed source software from a developer/company that has most probably little to no reputation at all. It's funny how they added a link to their GitHub repository even if it's empty lmao. Surely a way to convince people.

But seriously, how do you people end up finding these wallets. We have enough reputable wallets on the market already.

I don't know how OP got that crap wallet, I never have heard about it until now. However, when you google for "best bitcoin wallet", you will get recommendation as "Best Overall" for coinbase wallet (Image attached below). Couple of days ago, for the search term "bitcoin wallet", the first result was coinbase as well but things have changed, the first result is bitcoin.org; best place to get all together.
Many local sites most of the time recommend some crap wallets. May be OP was suggested by someone who have no idea how this things work.

*snip*

Sure the results could definitely shift between multiple high-authority(in terms of SEO) websites, but it's highly unlikely for this new wallet that I don't even think much people use to outrank sites like Coinbase and bitcoin.org.

It's either OP saw this on some advertisement post on Reddit or on social media, or OP is advertising it.

Right, the account was solely made with the purpose of advertising their service here and asking people indirectly to visit there and see their service and even use it if they want to. I urge everyone not to go for that wallet OP has mentioned here, you've got many great wallets available for all types of cryptocurrencies and having your coins on an exchange or the app mentioned by Op (suspicious one) would be a silly step to take.

If you would have bothered to at least halfway read the OP and to check what wallet he is talking about, you would have noticed that he is specifically asking for a mobile wallet.

@OP:
You didn't mention which OS you are using and what kind of cryptos you want to store on your mobile device.
There are quite a lot of good BTC wallets available for android. But only a few for ios.

The two BTC wallets for android i like the most are mycelium and samourai.

Both are open source, have a nice interface and work flawlessly.
If you are privacy-orientated, you might want to take a look at samourai. It has some nice features built in.

OP, try BlueWallet, and you can also try using the Lightning Network custodially with it.

I would also recommend that you check Veriphi's wallet reviews, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aZ1zbaUEzCo9NCctN8-eL2VLIiSdY009tTJvRXDUWEw/edit?usp=sharing

I have never heard of this wallet which OP is talking about the polehin.com wallet. If its a web wallet, then you should not use it and for the desktop wallet you should use electrum wallet. There is no need to try new wallets as tons of them are developed each day to scam people.
