If you mean the poker market, I think they have been doing extremely well unless you compare them to some big name. Lots of full cash game running 24/7 and some tournaments with over $10k guaranteed running with over 100+ players registered although most of them are probably recreational player that will jam all in with J8o   ( Ironically, I lost few times to such hands )

Yeah I would shove that as well if I am short but most of those rec would shove it UTG position when they still have close to 50 BB. Its kinda frustating sometimes because you have some decent hands like QJs to play but then those rec would shove 50 BB then I feel like 50BB shove for QJs is not good enough

you make betnomi sound pretty juicy tbh. i haven't checked out their tourneys yet. maybe i should now that i've got a couple hundred bucks in my account...

If you are into MTT grinding, you should check them out. The guaranteed prizepool is decent and good with smaller fields if you compared it to ACR, stars or ggpoker. Its good but its too tilting for me sometimes because of those rec player. Some big tournament on weekend and lots of decent prizepool on weekdays

Also tournament tickets freeroll ( in case you are bored lol )almost every hour but these gets filled up like 15 mins after registration open.

And you are absolutely right in trusting that feeling, imo. Those over-aggressive players may steal several blinds and be on top during the first 30-40 minutes, but they very rarely end up ITM.

In tournaments of this type, I stick to the strategy of calling all-in at the beginning of the game (then I leave the game for 30-40 minutes) and go back to the beginning of the add-on, (add-on allows you to feel more confident at a later stage). Thus, a successful call early in the game allows me to wait out the aggressive period of the game. Because if I do not take a break, I will not have the strength for the final tournament, (a series of tournaments which, in addition to the final, includes 3-4 more satellites).
