I am still pretty sure this website is working great.

I hope you're right, but I'm just not as optimistic as you do  Cool

I agree that OP should temporarily change the payout to 1.2x - 1.5x to clear payments and to ensure reinvestment and flow of new funds!

All I can see if huge potential for this site but its not being run properly.

No one is investing because no one is getting paid. The list of pending transactions is absolutely ridiculous with NO WORD from the owner in days despite his being online. It's more and more like a scam by the day and if it goes to a week with nothing then it's officially become a scam. Ponzis with no investments or movement after a week seldom last.

No one is getting paid because no one is investing...

Simple math states that in order for someone to be paid 1BTC who is invested .5 BTC there needs to 1BTC invested as the rules state that he will not pay out of his pocket, so in order for him to be paid, there needs to be 1BTC in the accounts.  Since there isn't, and no other investors are stepping forward, he isn't getting paid....Simple Math 101.

Math is awesome! Let's see bitdoubler say that himself or repeat it. Where is bitdoubler. Anybody seen him? Has he replied in the last few days? Hmmmm? If he was really running a serious program then he would say somthing every now and then wouldn't he? *Shrugs*

Bitdubler admin is not posting messages anymore. Guess that gesture tells us all - there is not much hope for bitdoubler...
Changing domain name explains it all - if it was made intentionaly or not - it's a fact, that it turned bitdoubler into scam. Damn, the system seemed to work...

As long as there are fools willing to part with their money we will have Ponzi's.

Just as you can walk to the local store and purchase lottery tickets, win nothing or win $2.00 [which will go back into lotto tickets and you'll still leave with nothing].

Exactly the same as gambling sites.

"Warning: Trade with extreme caution! "

That's because the user 'mem' is giving every ponzi owner bad reputation.

Just for the record: I did get paid, twice. And i did get my refunds, also twice. I really have no reason to think this is a scam.

Fact is that lowering the payout to 1,5 or less or changing the min.deposit again doesn't make any difference. It only affects the time it takes to slow down and finally stop the system. Do your math.

I had three reasons to stop playing:
After my last refund OP raised the min.deposit to 0,1. Too much, I think.
Second reason: there were already too many pending transactions. The momentum was gone, it was obvious the system got (or was going to get) stuck. As all these systems do after a while. The earlier you jump in, the lower the risk, providing you quit at the right moment.
Third reason: The MakeBTC-debacle made me very cautious about sites that suddenly disappear. To be honest, I really don't know for sure whether that story was true, but like this one there was the story of the site being reported as a scam, at a moment there was absolutely no reason to think it was a scam. MakeBTC didn't fight back (scam???), BitDoubler did and came online again - kudos for that! But it p****s me off when people try to interfere because they want to "protect" me (and other players) from losing some money. Like I posted earlier on in this thread, I think it's quiet arrogant to put yourself in that oh so correct position and even worse: it affects the risk I'm prepared to take with playing this game. Leave us alone. You're not protecting, you're spoiling.

That said: I'm afraid that right at this moment I'm losing the 0,04 I earned here. At CoinPayoff...  Shocked . Yep, I jumped in too late, didn't do the math...  Wink
