Definitely, bitcoin offers a much better return than a bank can offer. But the risk is also higher than any other conventional investment. So 5% is an wise choice! This way you can keep the risks below the belt and enjoy a good return at the same time. But bitcoin is not alone in this league. Only if everyone was thinking the same back then but no. A few years back, only a few wanted to take the risk and everyone only wanted quick results, which certainly didn't happen knowing how slow everything was in the day and we were just in a bear market after the ATH in 2013. I religiously bought bitcoin from 2014 to 2015 from paycheck to paycheck, and I'm glad that I did since I bought a lot of things and established my own business too. I wanted to do the same again though I halted buying already and am trying to enlarge my enterprise using only the funds from my business. One thing's for sure though, bitcoin helped a lot on establishing that business I am handling right now.

This is a great idea. But I miss this opportunity. So now I am wondering where Bitcoin will go in the future. Correcting all the previous mistakes and now I have a plan for Bitcoin. Now every month I buy a few dollars worth of bitcoin. Now if I buy $ 100 worth of Bitcoin a month, how many dollars will I have after five years? Now that's how I think. The attitude of saving bitcoin is a must for everyone. This is the same as how we save money in the bank and with our piggy banks. It doesn't matter how much you save as long as you practice the attitude and you make it a habit. Soon, those small percentages that we're able to save will eventually grow and that's the reason why we're all learning and moving forward to that day that all of these days that we're saving, name the amount, will be worth it someday.

The sense in the article isn't really about investing exactly $1 everyday, it is just used to explain how good and profitable it is to invest in bitcoin and also how positive it has been in the long term. You should invest what you can afford to lose for sure, something surely above $1 is in line with that, so you'll be able to build a standard portfolio quicker.

I am a student and it's not so easy having the spare money to invest in bitcoin, but I am certain of the good returns possible so I try to invest with 5-10% of what I can save per month.

Especially when Bitcoin corrected below $4,000 last 2018, hell yeah.
Say if you bough $365 worth of Bitcoins in 2018 and average price is $5,000. It is almost double your 1 dollar everyday.

Oh well, no one really knew that bitcoin will grow tremendously in the coming years so I'm sure majority of us here regret their decision not entering much earlier, specially for those who have heard bitcoin on it's early years. However, we still have the time to invest and see our investment grow in the next 5-10 years. So better accumulate and just hold and see everyone around in 2030  and here success story.

I didn't saved everyday for bitcoin. The suck reality which really makes me a fool. Maybe if we have same mindset like that like saving up $1 everyday, we can have our own bitcoin by now after so many years. But honestly, that is not my thinking. Although, I am still doing some savings in my wallet in a weekly basis but I have also an aim of having one whole btc even if not by saving up daily.

We can still own bitcoin even if not on that everyday type of savings, money management and a sincere purpose shall be imposed to achieve what we are aiming for, and that is to have bitcoin.

It should be less than if you invested 100$ 5 years ago. 5 years ago bitcoin was like 500ish $, so of course what OP posted looks amazing, but past performance is certainly not indicative of the future. In fact, if you have paid attention, bitcoin increase in value is slowing down overtime. Yes it still goes up, but less and less.

You might be lucky and catch a bull run, but don't count on it as long term. If a bull comes it will later correct back where it should be.

Zoom out completely and look at the curve of bitcoin's price history, it is a logarithmic curve that starts nearly vertical and ends nearly horizontal. Look in history you will find this curve in things like gold...

The most earns went the the bravest early investors. You can no longer live off bitcoin as some people did back then, but you can still use it as a means of preserving value, a way to keep your savings off the hands of banks and governments; more importantly, they cannot destroy its purchasing power no matter what happens, unlike fiat.

Diversifying is good, keep spreading your investment across various things if you want peace of mind.

Yes investing in bitcoin is more profitable than bank and even it's very much risky also. Being wise and holding in bitcoin will be helpful for future at the same time you should be smart enough to withdraw before the market gets down.

Upon investing regularly in bitcoin, I do really think there are some kind of investor that did the same thing as this, but definitely not right from the beginning in 2010, but if we look at the graph, even if the market is sometimes going down, in a long term basis, investors are getting profit which is considerably good if we invest regularly. Though, we need to be strictly disciplined to our decisions and to stick with our goals. In addition, what we could do is to hodl our money first and not entering the market if the market price is gaining heights, thus, save 50 dollars a day, and invest it when the market price of bitcoin is low.

I wish I could have known Bitcoin Back when it was first made. This just shows how much profit you could gain from investing in Bitcoin rather than investing in stocks even with just 1 dollar, though it wasn't as safe. This is the reason why I do the same thing, I always have at least save a portion of my salary to Bitcoin and do it every month, not missing a once because I know that the potential of Bitcoin is high. I guess this is better saving from your salary every project than investing 1$ every day since you already have the amount you don't need to worry about the transaction fee. But the only downfall is you need to invest it for longterm investment since you don't know when will the market price will go pump and dump in the market better not to use it in emergency since you might lose profit if you need the money and you might withdraw your investment in a low price in the market. Also investing in bitcoin and even saving money is not that easy

In my opinion it was successful because it was done 5 years earlier where we know the price of BTC is now higher, if done now maybe many will doubt it because we do not know the future prices.

You have a point when you are accepting cryptocurrency as payment and save or hold it, there is a tendency that it will go down, just like me I am joining signature and other stuff like creating banner and stickers,etc. here on bitcointalk and I converted it all to fiat. Getting $1 from your daily job is better in this scenario and it is good when we are in a bear market. But when we are in bull market Freelance job that accepts crypto is an advantage they can earn more and grow their money as bitcoin price increases.

If you had been dedicated enough since release, then ROI would surely be high. But if you have invested right before the peak of 2017's bubble, you would have lost more than you could have gained.

Basically, investing regular amounts on regular intervals is what cost-averaging is all about. It does lessen the risk of losses and has high probability of gaining, but it still depends on the time and price trend upon your entry.
