I have one interesting question: is Zpivx active ? does it work on Pivx Lite chain

Zpiv was hacked last year on the Pivx blockchain.  It was never activated on Pivx Lite for this reason and we have never been hacked.

Requirements
You must change/add 'listen=0' to your wallet.conf file.
WorkingDirectory must not contains spaces.

How is it working?

This tool copies your masternode's wallet and dash-cli.exe (For RPC Communication) to working directory and builds $coinname.conf file with your input values.
You can copy your blockchain folders (blocks,chainstate,sporks etc.) to workingdirectory\$coinname folder or just wait qt wallet for downloading blockchain files.
And when you start your masternode it links "datadir" and "conf" values to workingdirectory\$coinname\$coinname.conf file.
This way you can host your masternodes at windows and if you change your 'masternode port', 'rpc port' and 'coinname' for every instance masternode setup, you can start multiple masternodes for same coin.

Please note new wallets will be released soon, most likely next week.  We will bump to Version 4.1.1 to match current Pivx wallet version.
This is a new minor version release that including various bug fixes and users should also see wallet performance improvements.  There are also updated translations.


THIS IS A MANDATORY UPDATE


This release contains new consensus rules and improvements that are not backwards compatible with the older wallet version 1.0.  Users will need to update their clients before enforcement of this update goes into effect.  This version fixes issue with masternodes going offline.

Update enforcement is currently scheduled to go into effect at the following time:

Mainnet: Saturday, August 1, 2020 9:00:00 PM GMT

Masternodes will need to be restarted once both the masternode daemon and the controller wallet have been upgraded.

Tor for everything

Everything you do on the Internet from Tails goes through the Tor network. Tor encrypts and anonymizes your connection by passing it through 3 relays. Relays are servers operated by different people and organizations around the world.

A single relay never knows both where the encrypted connection is coming from and where it is going to:

The 1st relay only knows where you are coming from but not where you are going to.
This 3rd relay only knows where you are going to but not where you are coming from.
The connection to the final destination is encrypted whenever possible to prevent the 3rd relay from reading its content.
This way, Tor is secure by design even if a few relays are malicious.

Tor has more than 6 000 relays. Organizations running Tor relays include universities like the MIT, activist groups like Riseup, nonprofits like Derechos Digitales, Internet hosting companies like Private Internet Access, etc. The huge diversity of people and organizations running Tor relays makes it more secure and more sustainable.

The main goal of Pivx Lite is to have a coin that is completely untraceable, similar to Monero.  

We will achieve this goal in the next few months with the implementation of a shielded payment method secured by Zero-Knowledge Succinct
Non-interactive ARguments of Knowledge (zk-SNARK) and shielded addresses taken from the Zcash github repo.

Shielded address WILL BE MANDATORY ON PIVX LITE BLOCKCHAIN, as of this post the dev team at Pivx has indicted it will only be optional.

Therefore at the next fork Pivx Lite will become even more unique.

We are called PIVX LITE because we have 10,450,000 coins outstanding vs. 64,000,000 (estimated due to zpiv being hidden) for Pivx.

And we must say that your are correct, there is very little trading going on at this time, we have done very little to promote our coin and are focusing on building out the infrastructure and security of the blockchain in preparation to release Pivx Lite v2.0 with zk-Snarks.

This project is run by a non profit Foundation (like most crypto projects) and has not been financially profitable.

On the other hand it has been VERY PROFITABLE IN OTHER ASPECTS THAT ARE EQUALLY, IF NOT MORE IMPORTANT, for example:

Anonymity

Both Dash and Zcash have the option to remain anonymous but the transaction information can be disclosed by the other party thereby breaking the security feature. The Pivx Dev team has decided to follow the same path.  

Optional privacy can easily be broken at any point in the future and therefore is not really private by nature.  It only has a superficial appeal of privacy.

Pivx Lite with fork to v2.0 soon and implement Zcash security (zk-SNARKS) on the blockchain.  

Shielded addresses will be mandatory for all Pivx Lite transactions, there will be no way to opt-out.
