Scammers have different scamming techniques, some have to offer something too good to tempt people and this is different from hacking innocent people's wallet or bank account, those who get tempted by scammers offer are greedy people

Those who get scammed are the greedy ones, they are just like the scammers who scammed them so I can say they get what they deserve, greedy people will always be hunted
I agree that a greedy person is always hunted by scammers and he becomes a victim of scammers, but what is unfortunate is that people who are not greedy sometimes also become victims of the actions of scammers, so that optimism of people who are not greedy is starting to disappear when see new projects.

that is a proof that being scammed/scammers are for everyone and not just for greedy individuals but the only difference is that those who are not greedy are rarely  being scammed and once they got scammed  , they will learn from it and will be verry cautios on their next investing attempt  . the space of these fraudster/scammers are now getting smaller and smaller  for the ones that are not greedy because they are wiser now  but its still bothering because there are still greedy people that are hard headed  . they dont care to loose small amounts as long as they think they can earn much return if ever they got succesful  from ponzi's

from that I sometimes look for bounties that do not have to provide important documents for fear of future problems, I prefer projects that are not required for KYC because in my opinion it is safer to protect our important data

Yes, this is the safer way and sometimes I do the same! Even I ignored many good-paying bounties only because they asked KYC verification! Many of my friends did not provide KYC documents to the temtum bounty even they knew they can earn huge money from that! So, safety should be the first priority in crypto and maybe we need to be strong against those projects who ask strict KYC verification!
This kyc is i am more affraid of.
We dont need to give our details to them since its the payment for the job we done, they do not have right to have our identities and we dont know how secured that  if we give it to them.

I also have friend promoting in social that give $100 in exchange for KYC.
Seriously you will sell your identity to unknown just for $100?

Yes, and greedy people often do not use research or research on the offer given by scammers, so they will be very easy to be tempted and become victims of perpetual fraud, this is what we really regret until now and hopefully we are not included in the group of people greedy people.

Indeed, caution is needed to avoid scams. Scams can occur because of greed and I think this is human nature. Doing research before investing or before submitting the documents we have can keep us from fraud and I think the current fraud method continues to grow more sophisticated and we must be more careful

Nowadays it is wrong to think that any device that can connect to the internet is 100% safe, when it is not the device vulnerabilities that can be explored, the users are the ones to blame for not taking all necessary steps to achieve relative safety... especially in crypto there are always people lurking and waiting for the opportunity to grab a few private keys... phishing is maybe the worst of these plagues, I think that in the makor part of what's stolen the bad actors had information they shouldn't...

Yes I so much believe that there are numerous methods devised by scammers in order to defraud innocent people.  I just want to pick on one for now, which creation of coins for airdrops. When these scammers create telegram bot and fake coins as well, they make attempt to airdrop it to numerous people.  At the end of the airdrop, you will be requested to deposit a certain amount of dollars, for example $0.2 aw a withdrawal fees on top of fake coins.  Just imagine where 50k people have participated, multiply $0.2 with even half of the participants ($5000). Just using that as an example, there are many cases where those scammers raked in thousands of dollars before disappearing.  Be careful of airdrops that requested for withdrawal fees on telegram bot.  The possibility of being scammers is very high.

Everyone should be aware of the possibilities of fraud, we are in crypto and we are dealing with a high risk investment.
As for me, I already experience some of the fraud attempt on me but I always do the right decision to avoid it, as long as we are educated, I think we will be safe.

we need to start it with our account by making it safe, for example we have to put 2FA security, that should be basic now.

Your third point is common in countries or areas where power supply is not regular. There are more to it, such as ,scammer will design an attractive project site to get people, some time they send email on behalf of a project , and ask for their detail as a matter of urgency that they may not receive their token, if not submitted at given time and they get scammed.that KYC was even more advantage to scammers. And not really fulfilling much Advantage to many of us. We all need to be
watchful against them.

Here are few methods that online scammers use to scam people till date due to lack of not knowing

1. KYC Fraud

Behold, Any body can just contact you claiming they are bank executives or customer service officer from your bank and asked you to share details to complete KYC, they will actually first tell you that your account isn't safe anymore, this have proven to works on innocent people most times.

2. Fake SMS

This days online shopping can be very dangerous if you don't go through right channels, secondly you can get fake SMS about any online shopping cash back and you will be asked to share your credentials, ATM card details etc

3. Public Charging Spots

Abstain from charging your phones from any public charging spots, scammers can use some kind of chips that installs malware or spyware's on your phone while charging, this chips copies your sensitive data and inject the malware, automatically they have access to your phone, you can lose private keys this way, even every single  passwords on your phone. instead you are better off with power banks.

Most people knows about coins this days and believe me it doesn't have to be online alone before losing your private key or recovery seed, you can easily lose them offline as well

Reading this ost alone tells me that the height of the nefarious activity by scammers has exacerbated in this recent times. Loads of means have been deployed by these scammers that rip people off their hard earned money. They also send emails with links that also mirror your system and make it susceptible to attacks. they can also use your social media accounts to lay claims of familiarity and also a previous employer and these are often heeded by those who are ignorant of their tricks

Yeah, the OP is right on point. I believe he is from a developing country. Well, that is on a lighter mode.
However, I think the truth needs to be spoken. The fact is that, those who charge their phones in charging outlets, come from either developing or underdeveloped nations.

I am also from such a place, which makes me be able to relate well to the points he has made. Which I know is true.
That does not also eliminate the developed worlds, because, in one way or the other, scammers might also find ways to reach out to your sensitive gadgets or devices.

We should bear in mind that scammers have a lot of strategy to their victims, especially with the innocent ones, where they target their accounts by getting from fraud kyc, and also e-mailing to gmail accounts while some would click the bait until now this strategies are done by fraudsters and scammers.

Greed and no prior knowledge of investment is a mistake that pushes many people into the network of scammers but even for those who have research, they sometimes can't avoid these scams, the intelligence and the methods of the scammers are unlimited, from fake messages to counterfeiting projects and websites, it's sophisticated and without the slightest mistake to identify. Knowing more about fraudulent methods is only a small factor to prevent, it is better to improve security and only participate in prestigious locations

Basically the victim has not realized that it is a fraud because it concerns each other's personal data, this is a way or trick of a fraudster to launch the action. Do not stop there, fraudsters always update the way to attract the victims not to suspect and get into a trap

We all need to be careful with our phones and wallet, once people know what you are into you can easily become a target too, it's better no to keep telling everyone that you are into crypto investment, it should be something of secrecy

Tips that the number one may be as a bounty hunter must be careful because some of the projects we follow must fill the KYC so that we can get paid from the project then in the filling of personal data we must be careful if there is a request Inappropriate then never fill it in order for us to survive the counterfeit of our personal data, and for the number three tips we are very rare to find a victim.

It should be taken into account that possible hackers are there waiting for another victims so be being furious and carefully analyze everything before
dealing with providing your personal information, identity hacking is more prone from those who are being tricked by developers who doesn't have any
real project to offers but yet wanted to takeaway important information to every person who are not taking time to guard themselves from this kind
of practices.

The issue of fake sms is quite prevalent in my country. Its so rampant that almost every phone must have received one fake sms in every month. It feels so annoying when I hear news of people falling into this fake sms scam when it's very easy to decline. People really need to be more informed about the tricks of Scammers.
