Im a real fan of e-sports betting with the games dota2 and csgo and of course its better if I know those teams first but according to the OPs statement I didn't bet on those teams because OG does not have too much good statistics on that time and its goods if you are avoiding those games which are you don't know all the things about them and also have a concrete data about them. When it comes to winning chances then I do partly agree into your comment about you do able to spot out somehow on whose gonna win but still it isn't sure in everything.

I bet on esports before actually trading crypto currencies. This probably because I played a lot of CSGO myself. When watching streams of the tourneys it comes from its own that you have favourite teams and want to get on them. The big thing for me to go into betting on esports was the skin market behind CSGO. High quality knives are being traded for thousands of dollars. So betting with skins was a great way to make a profit. Even today the CSGO skin market is looking strong. Skin prices keep rising which makes betting so attractive.

This seems like an area of opportunity that can be exploited by those with the right knowledge, sport betting can be a very difficult field to get profits as casinos have all the statistics and tools to price games perfectly but esports are relatively new so it is impossible they can do this right now, especially since games change all the time and are updated and what was a good strategy becomes obsolete, so if you have a lot of knowledge on those games and you can earn profits may be this is the time to take advantage of it.

That definitely counts as a bet since cosmetic gambling was huge back then and most of them can be sold for real money but the value of these items are less than the actual market price because of the fees and conversion rates. That's one of the reasons that I slowly fall out of love for betting in cosmetics in eSports, the value of the cosmetic most of the items depreciate in value. Contrary to your claim that the cosmetics are less in the market, there are actually some cosmetics that defy that logic, I don't know much about it but if you were to combine certain cosmetics, it gets more expensive than both cosmetics sold separately.

If there’s a huge demand, the many gambling house will follow that and list those active esports so they can attract bettor as well. Popular games right now gained the big slot in the market, just like Dota and Mobile legends. I can confirm that loot.bet and gg.bet are quite amazing because they offer odds on most games in-play and their coverage is also decent while cloudbet and other crypto sportsbooks that offer odds on e-sports have good coverage but sometimes lack odds for in-play games. Dreamleague for DOTA2 which was concluded recently I tried to bet but only some of the games were offered for live betting.

On the current bookies that we do have on this crypto market then i can say that nothing still beats up this two specially now that it is accepting crypto then that is really a big convenience

I used to play some Dota and Counter Strike back in the day and a lot of Starcraft.. but those days are long gone now. I knew everything about the Top players and the rankings ...but back then not a lot of eSport betting was done.

Now I changed strategy and I bet on CS:GO with the knowledge that I get from the kids that are still playing it. I know the basics of the game and they will tell me what the pro's and cons are for the latest players.. so I formulate my bets based on that. 

I have to say, some of these kids are fanatics and they know what they are talking about. (It shows in my win statistics)
