Can Binance beat Ethereum

I don't think that the two is even comparable to be honest. If you wanted to compare BNB then its closest competitor is Kucoin Shares (KCS), both are exchange coins.

But for the sake of argument, personally, I don't think that BNB will beat ETH any day, yes BNB enjoy the support of the community, but ETH still takes the second position behind BTC and would continue to be traded in millions in dollars whether we are in a bull or bear market.

This is not fair to comparison between Binance and Kucoin. No doubt kucoin is working hard and busy to improve their platform by introducing its various product and also seeking attention by giving bounty, But it still not to even close binance by any means.

Can't disagree really. Moreover even if BNB would cost more than ETH does would it mean that Binance beat Ethereum?
I don't think so, Ethereum has a lot of power and resources at this moment

I still don't get it why BNB can defeat ethereum but if ethereum fail with 2.0 the possibility is more bigger than pass it. There's psychology that popular coin can't defeat by new coin but this is market and everything could happen. Depend my experience BNB can become third coin but will never pass ethereum, Binance need value and volume and so far we only see they manipulate BNB with good story and event. Ethereum doesn't need that because people trust already with them, so use ethereum as priority and BNB as alternative.

The improvements in ethereum network is the most important reason of the growth of eth which is unstoppable and going in a positive way that's why its adoption graph is massive and I think the value of bnb is depend only on its hype so it's really hard for bnb to beat eth.

One thing I don't understand is why people always compare entirely different assets. Binance coin (BNB) and Ethereum (ETH) are both cryptocurrencies. But apart from that, there is hardly any similarity between these two. Ethereum is essentially a smart contract platform which uses the Blockchain technology, while BNB is essentially an exchange coin designated for usage within the Binance exchange. It is not widely being used to create smart contracts. As of now, thousands of tokens have been created on the ERC-20 platform. On the other hand, the number is quite low with the Binance Chain blockchain.

Binance coin was hit to Coinmarketcap around 25 Jul, 2017. At the time BNB was trading nearly $0.10 with 10 Mln USD market cap, trading at its own Exchange Binance. whereas at the same time Ethereum was trading around $225 per Eth, having more than 21 Bln USDT Marketcap. Later on Ethereum Blockchain was well in business and marke its all time high price $1368 per coin and its market was cap was above 132 bln usd. This time was early 2018 and all market was at its peak. People were expecting about Ethereum will soon overtake Bitcoin and this all was due to Ethereum Blockchain adoption for new ICOs launching with the help of smart contract of Ethereum Blockchain.

But this all was slowdown gradully due to fake ICOs. With all this happening entire market was in downtrend which is still continue. Where this was badly effect whole crypto market but Ethereum was also in correction and this was lead its value to the agin under $200.

Now here is the other story of Binance. In the same time Binance was in serious busniess and its addoption was over the Moon. So, Binance was in race of becoming World No.1 Exchacge by beating Bittrex and it done the job, the other side its Binance coin was making business day by day.

Binance management very smartly engaging its native coine into miltiple purpose and make it one of the best cryptocurrency in Bolckchain Industry.

I think someday BNB will beat ETH, What you Think

There is always a chance for other currencies to move upward and replace those in top of the rank but they need to work harder for it to become reality especially if we talk about Binance versus Ethereum.

There is no doubt that Binance has the potential to do it someday but as of the moment Binance should focus more to their marketing side so it can increase it's users and investors. And if possible, if they still have unique features that they can still add in their platform they should do it or maybe they will think a unique marketing techniques to close their gap to Ethereum as days will pass by.

volume of the coin ? its like the same as how much the demand of the coin gets  ,  speaking of demand  .

both coins are investors/traders choice  . although lately , people are ignoring eth but i think the demand for binance coin still continues    . this is why i think that binance got the potential to beat etherium soon  but only if eth wont make a recovery but right now , i also see eth woked up  . eth seem to not giving up  and still showing its worth   .

Binance is dependent on Changpeng Zhao much more than Ethereum is dependent on Vitalik Buterin. Ethereum will survive even without Buterin, but the same can't be said about Binance Coin and the exchange. Ethereum has been in existence for more than 6 years now and a lot many of the bugs and issues have been fixed by the developers. Compared to that the Binance Coin (BNB) is relatively young and we are yet to notice many of its potential security issues and flaws. It will take a few years more to mature.

Agree with you, binance depend on Zhao, eth is being in the markter for years and being one of the top coins and second to bitcoin having a large value, so I think the XRP and BNB will battle on the 3rd place, they cannot beat eth, since eth has a higher resistance and even without the influence of Vitalik, still eth has its own place and its own market, so I vote more for eth than BNB this time.

Ethereum is currently on the 2nd position on Coinmarketcap based on market capitalization. Where as, binance is on the 9th position (when I last checked) on the list when ranking based on market capitalization. This means, binance needs to beat 7 more coins in order to beat and take over Ethereums position and replacing it. You are sound like you are trying to say that BNB is going to take over ETH within few days. I doubt that is going to happen. Might happen in the long run, but for now, it is not going to happen.

Hmm! It is quite understandable how we can get swayed by certain progress. Yes, Binance breaks records after records. Their records! And that will continue.  But, the possibility of Binance getting ahead of Ethereum is dependent on whether Ethereum remains stagnant in development or not. That is true everything is possible but it is very unlikely to happen because Binance coin relies only on its platform and its CEO, it has a limitation compared to Ethereum that is focused on technology in general and there is no restriction to different industries. The more advanced ETH technology is, the more valuable it will become while Binance coin spent almost all of their time making a partnership and did not do much with their technology.
I believe ETH will not be replaced by Binance in the future but it might be replaced by something else new if that project has something more that they can offer than ETH can do.

I do not think so, this market can always happen a very unexpected replacement, Binance is an extremely strong opponent and should not be despised because maybe right now, it is still not comparable to eth but in the near future, with steady development, binance exchange still has enough resources to promote and defeat eth. And while we are trying to exploit binance's weakness, we should look back at eth, which has yet to achieve any goal or proof of its capabilities, so this competition is a scene we should consider

well maybe it could have happened when the CEO of Binance implemented what you said then the price of Binance coins will experience a very rapid increase because it will be increasingly difficult to get BNB and trading cost discounts at the exchange will be difficult to obtain.

Ethereum does not have a total supply. they only have a supply circulation, where ethereum supply is unlimited, this will be a weakness for ethereum if they do not have good development in the future, and will be an opportunity for Binance to take second place
