So he think he can convert Buffet to invest in Cryptocurrency? I don't think so he cannot be bought by just a few millions this guy has a tons of it, if he wants to market his coin there are better ways but not a publicity like this that I doubt will yield results.
Shitcoin will always be a shitcoin. Tron is just a pump and dumps coin and I don't know why there are still people believing this Justin Sun. Money talks. That's how money is powerful for sure.
I hope they talk more about major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Warren Buffet is smart enough for sure.

I agree and Sun must be making tenths of millions from it if he's able to spend 4.5 on a dinner with someone who isn't going to change his mind. What was the point of it?
Warren is an old man who is now riding the wave of the money he made many years ago. He's not going to switch from fiat to crypto or see value in it because he's been using fiat for the last 80 years and doesn't have time or the knowledge to start using digital decentralized money in the last few years of his life, because let's be honest, he's not going to live much longer.
All this TRON hype and promises are going to turn into fiat money on Sun's private account.

Buffett is too old to understand technology but he knows how to run a company like Hathaway.  The conversation between the world's greatest investor and the owner of the world-famous Blockchain project will change the minds of a range of people who are active in the field of finance and technology.  The truth is that Economics and Technology have combined excellently.  I hope the Buffet will change its mind and soon invest in a Blockchain project or apply Blockchain in its business.

It ain't happening.  He is steadfast in his ways and for good reason will probably stick to it.  If you had a plan and it made you billions would you really blink and eye to something that doesnt fit within the model....it made him a Billionaire! And at this point in his life why would he possibly ruin his rep with something he is unfamiliar with.  Crypto is a millenial thing, not a roaring 20s thing lol

Buffett is probably going to regift that Tron/bitcoin to one of his grandkids, as I'm sure he has no interest in it whatsoever--though I'm sure he appreciated the sentiment behind it.

Ultimately it doesn't matter what Buffett's opinion on crypto is, since he made his fortune with other investments and doesn't need to invest in bitcoin (or Tron).  I wouldn't underestimate his knowledge of crypto's function, however.  Buffett is no fool and knows a lot about economics, money, finance, and a lot more.

And at this point in his life why would he possibly ruin his rep with something he is unfamiliar with.  Crypto is a millenial thing, not a roaring 20s thing lol
He was born after the roaring 20s--just sayin'.  Nor do I think he'd be ruining his reputation by investing in crypto.  The fact is that he just doesn't see the need for it, as you mentioned.  I'd be interested to know what happens to the crypto-gift that he got from Sun, but I'm pretty sure there won't be any followup on that.

I often see Warren Buffett in youtube, especially his commercial about stock market. In this case, I do really think that Warren Buffet is anti cryptocurrency as he is protecting his assets whether people could change their mind to invest in cryptocurrency other than his stocks. Though, with this particular news concerning Warret Buffett willingly accepting gift of Tron and Bitcoin, I can see that he's now changing his perspective to cryptocurrency which is good as more people could trust BTC and crypto with his influence.

Accepting gift might not just mean us that Buffet has started accepting the regulation of cryptocurrencies. Buffet is more like a stocks guy which would never publicly invest into any of the cryptos. He and Justin Sun might be having some strong business relations which might not have allowed him to reject Justin's gift but this would never mean that buffet would utilize those bitcoins and tron in order to make profits for himself.

He might yet be hating cryptocurrencies but perhaps this gift can make him believe in cryptocurrencies for long term if ever we land up in the bull runs. Can you image how large profits Buffet would actually gain for holding that "gift" in the coming bull runs?

How could buffet reject if anyone gifts him bitcoins? Warren buffet is one of the most successful entrepreneur and these successful people have their own kind of strategies which keeps them making wealthier.

Bitcoins are actually a perfect gift we could gift anyone. Gift is meant to be something which would be loved by the person and also anything which can be beneficial for the person receiving the gift. Warren buffet is already one of the most richest guy in the world so what gift could actually impress him? Justin Sun might have thought on this for a long time before he could conclude on gifting buffet with bitcoins and tron.

It is not about skepticism, the old generation will not understand technology and the best they will learn is to switch on the computer and nothing more and Warren Buffett is 80 plus years and making him understand how technology works is a hurdle and i am surprised that he accepted the offer and Justin Sun achieved what he wanted, a million dollar lunch and he gifted his alts and nothing else. Easy money for someone who is living is old days making appearance and there is nothing that Warren will change in a short period.

It's not easy money for Warren, he gives money from that launch to some charities, as far as I know. I think that Justin Sun is just paying for promotion, this is the thing he is doing from the start. He is going around, meets with celebrities, promoting his project, and so on.
Warren is an old man, but not only that he survived, he made his fortune in the most turbulent times. His investment skills shouldn't be questioned. I don't believe that he will join crypto, but his companies maybe will some day, who knows. For sure, he has enough money to create his own, but maybe Justin came with some good offer, future will tell!

Actions taken by Justin are common, maybe Justin just wants to be highlighted by the media and TRON will be one of the events to promote it, yeah, I had expected that to happen, HYPE is only for TRON  Roll Eyes

I’m not entire sure why would WB accept the crypto despite knowing it has association with drugs, gambling, illegal transactions, I think it set a precedent to any no coiners who constantly doubt about crypto, why wouldn’t everybody just accept crypto? Now I can brag with them WB is a bitcoin holder?

Smart business. Learning how to incentivize people and taking their emotions are the types of equipment you need to succeed in business. Justin made the right investment and decision with this move and I find it really smart.

Warren Buffett is an icon in trading. It means that he can influence 90% of the traders. Justing made his part and will make sure to benefit his investment sooner or later. But then, It's really uncertain if Warren Buffett really is agreeing with bitcoin and blockchain. He might just be accepted the gift and he already knew the motive of Justin why he gave it to him.

We will then see what further news about this.

I think maybe it is like that because it does not make sense if justin gave bitcoin and tron with just only for the rich like this warren buffett, or maybe this could also be a drama for both of them to be able to raise the price of tron at the exchange.

but if it is like that it is possible warren buffett will repay the kindness of justin by buying bitcoin and making tron up and making many people support the price of tron.

If you get a million dollars just to have food for an hour you do not think it is easy money, to make a million dollars in your bank account majority will spend their entire life and you think otherwise Roll Eyes. He is a sales man throughout his career and that is how he made his fortune.

Warren is an old man, but not only that he survived, he made his fortune in the most turbulent times. His investment skills shouldn't be questioned. No one questions his investment skills and he will not join a new bitcoin market and there is a valid point for his skepticism as the entire market could die if some crazy developer or a hacker does something crazy. The way in which Justin Sun made his money through his projects in the market and he is spending it lavishly when some of the major projects like Litecoin are struggling to make ends meet and i wonder how long it will take to see him go bankrupt.

Warren Buffett is not a trader he is a value investor getting fundamentally sound stocks at a good price. But I agree with your points that several people follow Buffett and Sun tries his marketing with the ace investor where everyone knows it and this has created news around the corner. But Warren was very clear about his views on cryptocurrency even if he is wrong he won't regret it and that is how he is been all these years

He's got enough of the top economy influencers in the world around him to know at least the basics of cryptocurrencies.

Of course he doesn't see the need for it - check out his portfolio and you'd know why. He's a heavy investor in banking systems and, working with banks and with the system for so many decades, his opinion most likely cannot be changed. He's going to support the system because it's what made him become the billionaire we know today.

This thing has been made the Tron price is increasing, right?

But after all, I'm really appreciate what has done by Justin Sun. He is able to pay a lot of money just for eat with Warrent Buffet, which I think (what's so special about him) maybe he is an expert to investment so as the can attract many people there into cryptocurrency.

Yeah, I'm sure this new will give a huge affact for the situation and even an adoption into cryptocurrency, I just hoping it. Because through these ways we will have more chance to make cryptocurrency being used in all country even for payment system.

I doubt warren would care as well. Think of Warren Buffett and how much of a friend he is with Bill Gates, dude is bridge partners with Bill Gates and has been friends for over 2 decades!! And he still didn't bought a single share of Microsoft. The same dude who has been friends with Bill Gates for over 2 decades and never bought a single share of microsoft, decided to buy APPLE shares few years ago. Do you know what that means? Dude is probably the greatest intelligent investor in the whole world or maybe even in the history. Thats why I seriously think he won't care about this meeting at all. Maybe this could lead him to take a look into it a bit more, however I doubt it will lead into anything major like his other investments, maybe just test things.

Justin Sun literally sounds like a made up Chinese name, maybe it could even be. Usually they change their names to English in a very different way than other nations, like everyone has a different alphabet but they still use phonetic resembles and not a totally different name. When you go to Russia, if a dudes name is Vladamir, it is Vladamir all around the world, when you go to china if dudes name is weird, he changes to something like "howard" suddenly so it is easier for you Cheesy That is weird.

Warren Buffet had to do this (at age 89, he doesn't look a day older than 88 Cheesy ) because this dinners income goes to a charity and he does it every year, I doubt he cared even a single bit that he got free bitcoin or tron, he probably just put it somewhere and will never look at it.

Finally this dinner took place.
It is so good to see investors such as Warren Buffett being involved in the crypto space even if the cryptocurrencies that he acquired are gifted. I don't like Justin Sun, but I have to admit that he tries a lot for bringing mass adoption.
