Is EtherDelta Finally Gone?

I can still access the site now, i think you should lock this thread seems the information is not correct.
Maybe that time you access the site they are still doing some maintenance, you should not automatically create a thread, for sure if ED will be gone, there will be some news out there that will publish it.

I'm not using this site anymore but for me there's no reason for them to be gone given that the fact that they are decentralized and they make money whenever there are people still trading ETH tokens.

There's articles about a hacking incident on etherdelta I guess they're barely making profits and decided to abandon the exchange.

They could still fix their exchange but for now it's unlikely since there's no updates or any announcement.

When I said I can still access the site I didn't mean I can trade, so probably what you are saying is that the site is still up but it was already abandon so it's not safe to trade on the site anymore. Well, it's understandable as most of the ETH tokens went shit already due to the long bear market.

Still the better place is probably in your wallet. The longer you keep your money in an exchange the more things can go wrong.

It's a common thing but just remind you about some wallets are not giving us permission to take our privatekey from there and just try to use the wallet which gives permission to the users to take the private key.
To hodl the money on exchange site is a big risk decision that must be corrected again. Exchange site has a control over the hot wallet and we don't have any access into the hot wallet and that's similar when we are giving our money to the unknown person that the credibility of this person will be a big question because there was always a possibility for this party to be a thief or criminal. I don't even care if that was a major platform but just try to hodl our money in our hard as long as we can.
I never try to keep my money on the exchange site no more than a day after i have done my last trade.

The infamous EtherDelta seems like it is finally at its end with another infamous icon, the dreaded 502 Bad Gateway Error. Any news or comments on this would be more than appreciated thanks again

i think the ethredelta website was overshadowed by the introduction of forkdelta.app into the dex exchange space. Forkdelta took over operations as a clear competition and also a more advcanced plaatform and conquered the entire space by executing the same transactions and people moved their operation to forkdelta and ever since etherdelta hasn't been the same and jsut today i logged into the url to notice that it was non functional. i feel it is the end of the exchange

The domain has already expired and the owners have already gone. It looks like the owner has also closed the service of etherdelta. The only true dex that is still available was fork delta. RIP etherdelta.

They are long time dead and people already move out on other dex like forkdelta which we know the forked one came out of this dex.

But your post is important. Because every website can suddenly disappear and this could also happen with forkdelta. I assume it won't happen, but we can never be sure.

Etherdelta is pretty much gone, uniswap is the latest dex in town right now, everything has its own peak period, I think their fork which is forkdelta is still on board but the volume there is not really like it used to be before

no way bro, I always do this exchange on Etherdelta and nothing happens or everything goes as usual, yeah maybe just sometimes just pending the pending time is too long because it is caused by the queue of all people who use exchange etherdelta. and maybe your intention is maybe only Mantance and not Lost bro, try to make sure first.

EtherDelta still is up. They said they are updating its code but nothings changed, the exchange still loads too slow. Its forkdelta is much faster and this is the one that I have tried.

Its actually one of the best these days to buy, no more clicking for the orders but just swapping for its price. V1 is a lot better than the version 2.

If they want to make a comeback, they should just make a complete revamp of their dex with major UI and performance changes too.

Sure that Etherdelta is working? I don't see any Tokens. I only see this "spinning circle" that the site is loading content but how long do I have to wait for that I see the tokens?

I suggest you to use forkdelta , it is also like etherdelta they have the same features. I never used etherdelta since 2018 i think when there are incidents hacking going with their exchanges. But for me in the past etherdelta was very helpful for selling unlisted coin btw

Etherdelta is just very slow in loading it will take time before the token will appear. Wait 5-6mins and it will appeared. I had used etherdelta before and had problem using etherdelta because it's very delay when your trying to sell token.

I have not used etherdelta since Q3 2019...
I don't know what's going on and it might not have any connection but I think the owner of Etherdelta has focused on Forkdelta. I have moved all my assets from etherdelta to forkdelta since the slow response of the etherdelta site in my browser, just use forkdelta now, it's safer.
