I'm sure there are users who post more often than that in the gambling section for their own gratification.

Anyone who fakes it to make it will rapidly get found out and given the boot. I can't see myself ever going for a gambling campaign simply because I have less than nothing to say on the subject. More power to those who can.

No problem at all, like you, if you think you're not that active in gambling sections then don't to apply, simple, coz it will only cause in spamming. Well, it still depends on the manager who to accept its participants.
It will all depend on the manager because spotting out active gambling posters would be easy and you can also identify who do just recently posted on that board because they do know that its the main requirement for the said campaign.

Posting on boards on which you arent familiar or simply you arent a gambler will just really turn your post to be always off-topic.
They are gambling oriented company and its just normal for them to focus on a specific board.

Absolutely, and many are good contributors.

I can't see myself ever going for a gambling campaign simply because I have less than nothing to say on the subject. More power to those who can.

When I was invited by the campaign manager to join the Sportsbet.io campaign I had my reservations because I don't gamble, and felt the same way.  I rarely ventured into the gambling sections, never posted there.  The campaign manager told me he was aware of my post history, and the requirement to post in the gambling boards doesn't apply in my case.

But, being the guy I am, I went venturing into the gambling section anyway, and before long found myself talking about sports which I enjoy following.  I've found many users who's posts I've enjoyed in other sections of the forum, and they make equally good posts in the gambling boards as well.  I've had good time discussing my favorite sports team as they made their way to the championship game, which wasn't something I expected.

As for the campaign mentioned in the OP, yeah great pay rates, but it's not for me.

That's pretty cool. Even 5 posts a week would feel a little too much for me. The handful of sports that interest me certainly don't attract much or any gambling.

I find the psychology of gambling fascinating so could get interested in the overall subject but I don't think I'd last too long after telling everyone to STOP IT.

Yes, I guess they have the liberty to impose such rule in their own campaign and it is the manager's job to look after his participants. Since they are in the gambling business, they want to promote their site in the gambling section where you can find a lot of gamblers obviously. So I don't think there's something wrong with that. Their campaign, their rules, as long as they are not violating the forum rules.

Well, 20 posts in Gambling only looks big. But I think that for active gamblers it's not a big deal to make 20 posts per week about gambling. Offcourse, if you're not interested in gambling, this campaign isn't for you, because you would have to spam hard to reach 20 posts quota.
Personally, I wouldn't join this campaign, despite that I post in Gambling boards frequently. 20 posts would be too much for me. I came to Bitcoin, not Gambling forum and I want to discuss about crypto primary, gambling is just additional stuff here.

In one of the previous campaign i've joined their requirement on the gambling section was 25-30 posts minimum. Eventually there was a discussion that came up about the specific campaign rule I remember even the moderators stepped in on it then changes was applied to the campaign reducing the post requirement by half. If the same thing goes with this campaign then we'll surely see the rule getting changed by the manager.

When you are familiar with sports like Basketball, Football/Soccer, MMA, Boxing, and other sports that are mostly discussed in the gambling section, it should be easy to meet the 20 posts per week requirement. If you also bet on these sports, then that's better.

Alternatively, they can also change that rule and some already suggested to reduced it. They can also make the 20 quality posts as optional and just add incentive to whoever makes it.

I'm not aware of this case. If you still have a link or if you still remember the name of the campaign, please post it.

Welsh and some other have already added some insights. Let me share my thoughts.
There are some active posters who make around 30 or higher per week in the gambling section. For example, tyKiwanuka, Harkorede to my known. There will be some more people also. My initiatial target was to recruit poster who are very active and posting minimum of 20 per week for a long time. I wouldn't force anyone, I mean I wouldn't recruit anyone who posted 10/15 times in gambling section for the last couple of weeks. So, this makes sense that if I would recruit active posters from gambling, no spam affect will be there.
Besides, I wouldn't go rush to fill all the slots. I have a habit of keeping slots unfilled as long as I do not get my desired people.
Hope this makes sense why I required 20 posts per week.
And thanks for creating this thread. Also, thanks to everyone who put their valuable responses.

Note- The campaign is postponed. I have posted an announcement there.

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments  Wink There are very specific examples that I can see, it's completely new, I think I should change my mind about this topic  Cheesy  Implementing 20 posts in Gambing may be difficult for me or many others, but it is also very easy for regular users  Cheesy Anyway, I still feel that it doesn't suit me, I don't have much interest in Gambling

I see too many of you worrying about the Spam that will be generated in the Gambling Section because of the “minimum 20 post per week in Gambling Board” requirement. Everyone were talking about the same when the Cryptotalk Campaign participants were spamming throughout the forum. So how did they fight the spam generated? By actively reporting the spammers to the mods and the CM. If Yahoo was able to handle the big lot of Partcipants, why do you think that Little Mouse can’t handle 25 participants from spamming? If you guys find someone to be spamming just to meet the requirement, just report his posts to the MODs and the CM, let them be removed from the campaign for good.

Edit: Didn't see the last two comments from the CM and the OP before posting  Lips sealed
