Thanks for the advice, its still not 100% certain that there will be a new ATH this year because I think this present market movement is based on Hype, I guess its bitcoin halving hype, nothing more so the question is, after bitcoin halving is over in may will the market still remain bullish? cos one thing is certain, the hype will be over by then

It doesn't need ath for smaller exchanges to exit scam, a little bullish pump is all they need if they are in financial trouble. And by smaller exchanges i really mean some top exchanges as well on the coinmarketcap, because of the faked volume they really are not that big.

You are right mate and actually it does not have to be necessarily because of the bull run that you are going to take efforts in keeping your cryptocurrencies safe. This should be a habit and the best of wallets to use is the hardware wallets but if you don't have funds to purchase them then you can go for either Trust Wallet or IM Token wallet. These mobile wallets are equally good and safe to use.

I'm guilty of this, it's that convenience factor. At least I have my main coins spread across different exchanges. But with the lack of time it's hard to spend a whole day getting 12+ wallets to keep in your computer.

I highly doubt that the good reputable exchange will just disappear like that I mean there are exchanges that are just no going to do that and many people know them I will just say if you find the exchange suspicious then you are good to withdraw if not the keep your money

You realize you're asking bounty hunters to keep their assets safe, when the vast majority of their assets will never be tradeable.

The vast majority of bounty tokens are competely worthless these days, and many can't even be properly secured because they're not compatible with hardware wallets.

Here's some better advice: dump all your bounty tokens at the first instance you get, and invest in something more proven.

Right of this moment in time that we have already saw the positive improvement on the prices of different cryptocurrencies existing in the virtual market that have started upon entrance of year 2020, it is really in need that we must always keep our assets in tacked and always assure that the wallets we use (either hardware wallet or online wallet) that our assets are completely secure so that when the moment of the bullrun comes again into the cryptocurrency market, we will be benefited for the reason that despite of all the circumstances that the crypto world have encountered, you have made it right to this moment of keeping it on your side. In previous years some exchange already shut down because of bankruptcy or exit scam, After they raised a decent amount on IEO they run with investor's money. So we need to be concerned about what exchanges we are trading on they can run anytime with our money only trust reputable exchanges like Binance. I trust them personally because they have insurance in case of hacking. But to be safe withdraw your coins into your wallet if you are planning to HODL.

There also are some more exchanges which were shut down due to some technical issues. Also we can see that some of the major exchanges are also being hacked which is also a reason why most of the people are losing their money onto those exchanges. That is why using exchanges for trading purpose only is been suggested and each of us should always use a secure wallet in order to store funds for longer intervals.

We should not always trust the exchange with our coins because anything can happen to the exchange. Even a legal circulation from the centralized government can make the exchange seize down which too would make a number of people lose their funds.

Don't lose guard in any exchanges because there is really a chance that the exchanges in some trading platform disappeared in which it always happen so much in different exchangers in which it will suddenly go down the server and you will not be able to withdraw your money or earnings. It would be good if you will be able to just careful everytime because we don't know what would be happen on the few more days. It is more better if we will be careful and secured every time we are trading in some trading platforms.

There are so many exchanges that really support new coins and doesn't support new coins because some exchanges doesn't have any trust to those new coins because they are suddenly doesn't have any value so that they are not supporting it but the thing is when you are holding some coins that has a high value and high liquidity you can really use top exchanges just like binance, okex and etc. for more secured assets and thank you for reminding as those secured exchanges for us to be mare careful on picking up a personal wallet that we can use.

NO, you are right you really hit it,  some new exchanges are just waiting to cash out in this coming bull market, so people should only trade in a well-established exchange when it comes to a big amount and do not just trust new exchange with a big amount check the reviews and test with a small amount, it's better to be careful than sorry, you never know.

I have been looking forward to this year and even there is already a big improvement in the price of bitcoin is still we don't if there will be a bull run or not. All my assets are ready for the bull run and until now, I keep on buying valuable cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin. I have been diversified my investment in top-performing cryptocurrencies. But, even the bull run will start right away I still not instantly sell my investment because I will wait for again for a longer time so I can able to make double my profit.

If you will only have a problem with the exchange if you going to use unknown and scam exchanges and always use the reputable exchanges that can help you to secure your assets. I agree with you OP, we should always withdraw our assets and storing it in an exchange is not a good idea because it can be hack by some hackers. Always secure your exchange account and don't let anyone see your password.

The thing that is even worse is that some exchange would freeze your funds instead that you can't even pull the minimum of it. Finding a lot of exchange would build a flexible trader especially if leverage trading is being done, but consider the fact that some exchange around the corners of the internet are just waiting for people to be preyed. Sometimes I ask myself, why do people still tread to far if we already got reputated exchange like Binance, Bittrex, etc.
There would be coins that are exclusive to an exchange, because it is an exchange coin but people should be aware that if it is an exclusive shitcoin in an exchange then probably it is a shit-exchange also.
