What do you think of the most secure option wallet? I prefer to use Wallet on my Android phone.
There are various "secured" wallets currently available today. Whether you prefer mobile or desktop wallets is up to you. Below are some of the most popular Bitcoin BTC wallets and the platforms that they support. 1. Electrum WalletPlatforms supported: Android, Windows & Linux. Download page: https://electrum.org/#download2. Mycelium Mobile walletPlatforms supported: Android & iPhone. Download page: https://wallet.mycelium.com/contact.html3. Trezor Hardware walletPlatforms supported: Hardware-based wallet device. Download page: https://trezor.io/start/Aside from these three, there are more wallets. However, you should be good with either of the ones I posted. feel free to check their websites and download pages.

If Android is your only option then I've been using Mycelium for several years with no trouble at all. It's still actively developed, unlike the iOS version, and the source code is viewable.
Make sure to set a pin and of course test and back up your seed. What I do is note the first receiving address it gives me and then erase the wallet and restore it with the seed to check the same address pops up.

In the past, I am using the Electrum wallet. It is trusted and been popular with a lot of people, it is the most suggested wallet for me too since that is the usual line of people I ask about a bitcoin wallet in an android phone. I can't use that now since I don't have that much crypto currencies so I just use coins.ph now, one of the most popular exchanges in our country.

It's a generic question and there are a lot of answers You have to know that for small values, you can keep with smartphone wallets, online wallets or even exchanges, but only for small values, don't forget
If you are talking about medium values, it's recommended to have your own wallet, could be Electrum for example, in a safe computer
But if you are talking about higher values, I only recommened hardware wallets, it's the most secure way to keep your coins safe, Trezor wallet is well recommended

Why is nobody mentioning the bitcoin core wallet itself? I know you should have enough bandwidth and huge storage but if you can afford that, why not give it a try? For me, it is one of safest and when you want to transfer your coins to exchanges or other wallets, you will incur a very small fee, depending on your priorities.

If you have a large amount of bitcoin, it should be stored in a hardware wallet which is proven to be very safe for storing bitcoin. If your bitcoin isn't too much, should be stored in an online wallet, like electrum wallet. And don't make it a habit to save funds excess in exchanges wallet, only save funds for trading capital only.

I personally use Blockchain wallet as I have a better security when I use an online wallet. The best one in my opinions are still hardware wallets or cold wallets when you can safely deposit and hold your cryptocurrencies. If you want to use Android phone wallet,go for Blockchain or Mycellium , both are great and never had an issue when I used them but I don't recommend them for holding, just for quick trading or selling.

Electrum is the only thing which I had used up until now.
I am a little lazy to research again with new ones since I am already okay with the old. Issues: None for a lot of years. Pros: Yes, it is in android. Cons: I cannot think of something in my experience.

If you're into serious amounts and security, while also preserving flexibility, go for a hardware wallet like Ledger.
If you plan to keep it as safe as possible, and plan to hold long-term, consider storing it in an air-gapped device storing an offline/cold/paper wallet.
If it's not that much and you plan on trading/spending it anyway, then go for online wallets (though not that safe).

Electrum provides ownership and better control over your coins but is not very user friendly. Coinbase web wallet can be easy to get things done and easy to use. They even have an feature to send fellow coinbase users a zero fee transaction using their emails and many merchants do receive no fee transaction from coinbase wallet. I personally use both, coinbase has my bitcoin on the go while I use electrum while I need to access my bitcoin wallet on desktop through seed words.

For me, I used Electrum wallet for 5 years and it went well because on that time, I don't have too much bitcoin. I'm just a newbie in crypto world so that as I read some information what is a preferable wallet, I found out that Electrum wallet is the most used. Your bitcoin private key has a password, so stranger can't easily have an access to your account. But right now, I also use SegWit Wallet for a more larger amount of bitcoin because I see that it is also secure for larger bitcoin. It is also the fastest and have least bugs and errors, so most of the people are using this. It is no doubt, because of the reviews and feedback of the people who uses it, I see that they are really comfortable with this wallet.

If your local country has any financial service that creates its own wallet that supports bitcoin it is your best option. In our country, we have that kind of wallet that I am using for the past 5 years. Aside from it, I am using the Electrum wallet, it could be your first option since it is really secured but make sure that you are not downloading the fake one.

Electrum is the most popular Bitcoin wallet so far. So, you may have a look at that. Though many people feel Electrum is heavy to use if you feel the same then buy a hardware wallet, go for Ledger for it. Web wallet like Coinbase, Blockchain also better.

Just to add up, I'm using Electrum for 3 years now in my mobile and I dont have any troubles experienced since. While at the same time I'm also using a local custodial wallet for fast convertion from fiat to crypto and vice versa. I recommend also to use your mainstream local wallet (If you have any) just for fiat to crypto convertion, or you can just use Electrum like most of the people have recommended.
Just make sure to save your key or paraphrase in case you lost your phone, so you can import your wallet from another device with ease.

If you are a Filipino then I suggest you to use Coins.ph, it is the best wallet (IMHO) here in the Philippines . But if you are not then I suggest you to uae Mycelium, I used it before and I am satisfied with it as well. Unlike other mobile wallets, Mycelium is bech32 supported so you won't have any problems when making transactions here in the forum since it is the kind of address oftenly use here .

Breez Wallet was the first lightweight non-custodial wallet with Lightning Network support. I buy a lot of gift cards so this is a good choice for me.

For OP, you have many solutions to your questions so far about safe wallets for cellphones. So now you just have to choose and test it yourself, and I dont think you are looking for a secure wallet to hold lots of assets your bitcoin, because in my opinion cellular is not a safe place to store lots of assets and you should consider its safety. Choose according to your wishes and if you want to store a lot of bitcoin assets then you have to buy a hardware wallet.
