Frankly speaking, the upcoming even has happened and things have been seen. I wouldn't advise that one should sell off his or her portfolios because, the main bullish trend for altcoins will be immediately after Bitcoin halve. Although sometimes ago, altcoins and bitcoin always perform well after the event, so, we should study the market before engage in selloffs.

I would like to agree on this one because we all know that after the halving, almost all of the coins price will gonna rise up and become profitable. So it is better to hold your coin first until the halving takes effect for you to be able to earn a good amount of money. Do not just sell and be patient enough to wait for its price to rise up even more.

But you do not have to sell all the altcoins that you have, because I think the altcoin season has not come, I know the decline in Altcoin yesterday was one of the price effect of bitcoin falling, but the potential to bounce back is still there

I do not know if it is important or not, but the correction that has occurred is not so great. this market looks stronger now. bulls in the future will happen. let's see what will happen after halving bitcoin is finished running. hopefully, as many expected by the holder.

Indeed you don't need to sell your altcoins in your portfolio just because bitcoin halving is happening in may and coins in your portfolio wouldn't be there if you didn't study and analyze its potential so if you sell them off then you just wasted your time picking that coin, just continue what you normally do but put more focus on the halving and how will you maximize profit when halving's effect takes place on the market. Yes, you are right here, the altcoins season has not come fully, the recent price increase was an indicator that the crypto market needs altcoin, you just can't ignore all of them. Many people took the profit from this green market which was needed, now we can expect in the next Bitcoin price increases, all the potential altcoin's price will be increasing too! So, no need to sell all the altcoins for Bitcoin, you will regret if you do it. Rather split your investment in various coins.

Some altcoins have been preforming well according to CMC, and the volumes point to a possible alt season comming... I am no analyst, and I don't know if it makes sense an altseason before the BTC halving, but I am holding my alts for some more time before I switch...

if you bought your altcoins cheaper and then you'll see a significant rise, then it's always good to sell it and take the profit.

It has already come but with the same time with the bitcoin bullish season caused by the halving that will be happening next months. I never feel doubt the bullish trend that is happening in the market.
Just try to believe if everything is safe right now and the bounce already happened.

This thing which ive been followed ever since.You can sell out before halving event and that would be the thing i would do.
Pretty somewhat sure that it would dump most likely but this is just my own analysis though yet we know that halving event

I personally will not sell altcoins at this time. Halving Bitcoin will help increase the price of bitcoin, but it will also help the entire altcoin market grow soon thereafter. And up to now, the total altcoin I hold has increased by at least 30% and it will continue to increase

But your risk would depend on which altcoin, and I'm not just talking about the price. You don't want to HODL an altcoin that, doesn't have strong support from good developers, is not listed in many exchanges/threatened to be delisted, weak defense to network attacks, did have an ICO/IEO.

nope i guess, april is the deadline for it,although we on natural correction right now,there still have a chance for pump before the halving happened,i just think on March,bitcoin will go to range 11k,even more,of course its a good profit if u hodl it from january this year.

Plus, I see there is a correction during this period, so most of crypto in a little dip. It doesn't make any sense to compare any altcoin with BTC. Bitcoin is in big demand and it is being discussed on very level even all banks are afraid of this so that it will be keep continue with its natural way as like it is moving forward. I believe BTC will get explode after this event.
