Is this time to Sell altcoins before BTC Halving

I personally will still maintain the altcoins that I have, because it would be better for us to have a focus for bitcoin and altcoins, when the price of bitcoin is pumped higher of course it will have a positive impact on the altcoins market too although it doesn't happen quickly and in my opinion having a few coins in the portfolio will be good for preparing a bullish market.

Naturally, if Bitcoin does well then the crypto market in general does well too but just a reminder that this is no guarantee. Not all altcoins will enjoy the boom when it happens,,, as this is not any longer 2017;)

Also, if you saw, Bitcoin dropped 4% but Ether then dropped >10%. So alts enjoy the rise but they also suffer even more when things do not go well!

I also don't sell my altcoin because I feel that bitcoin will have an effect on altcoin. in addition, I hold ethereum, the second-best coin available at the moment. so, when the price of bitcoin goes up because of halving, I think ethereum will also go up, and I feel that the situation will be very similar in 2017. That’s the smart choice because why you need to sell your good altcoins for bitcoin where you can hold both of them. Crytomarket is growing, that means bitcoin and altcoins are growing, so the more you have coins the more profit to get. Altcoins is the best alternative, the cryptomarket will go big again and will put the altcoins on a better position in the future.

Indeed, this is not the time to sell our coins whether its btc or alts because halving is few months away.

Many predicted the price of btc will increase or might trigger for bull market hence better wait until it happen.

Though there's no assurance for this speculation I think it wont hurt us investors if we're going to wait.

This is the time to consider investing more because altcoin season has not yet happened and there may be some other adjustments before all the coins together reach new ATH. Most people have been going through the bear market for a long time and it's time to be patient. Personally, I believe this is a very good place for long-term investment and will continue to invest more if possible.

Due to this news you can see that Bitcoin is continuously climbing everyday and todays BTC market is open above 10k USD. This is clearly mentioning bull run in BTC which is always welcoming by all crypto lover.


In this time we have to think about what we need to do with our altcoins which is crushing daily basis. Here is my thought about altcoins to be patient and wait for the right time, don't need to panic, I belie that we will be see perfect time to get out from alt market. And for those who are in Bitcoin i advised them to stay away and wait for more dip.

Indeed, the trend is good right now and the market is healthier than before but we can't make some holders not to sell their coins because they already have gained profits by now making this trend to drop sometimes. Maybe it was a crazy thing to do but that's their decision and we can't hold them liable for any changes because that is their way of making money here. And therefore, we could say dumps will probably be happening soon either before or after halving is done.

All these thoughts unfortunately are obvious after all the events have happened. I do not think that you are 100% sure of a future dump, but if you are right, we are now losing a good opportunity to take a short position (although I am sure some traders have done this).
My idea is that no matter what happens, there are always some opportunities and you cannot "catch" all of them.

So where is this huge pump now happening? All I have been seeing now is minor rallies followed by retracements it has been more or less the same story for months now. I would hardly call this a pump. A minor alt rally for sure, but this was always part of the cycle was it not?
