Right, This is really a matter of joke that CMC shows this type of rank where Binance goes on 13th and FatBTC is 3 rank. Sometimes CMC shows fake pump which creates mislead among us. We know CMC is now the most used site for knowing the crypto update.

Fake volume and wash trading is still the biggest problem of Coinmarketcap and Coingecko type market-cap sites. Unfortunately, there is no concrete way to stop this and there are no more alternatives for regular crypto traders. Better rely on the given data and make our own research instead of believing the Coinmarketcap.

Your sound looks good, mate. CMC can't be a source of legit information in such cases! Every day some unknown exchange comes in the top rank when Bittrex rank is 80-90! This can't be real surely. I have no idea how we can do something against them, better we can go to Cryptowhale bot or Coingecko for such information, they are not perfect but better than Coinmarketcap in many ways!

This is a very shameful act by CMC, They should maintain the trust we have given for a long time so that their reputation does not become bad. I think there needs to be a strict warning against CMC because their actions can harm the user. CMC has long been a good reputation for old and new users. therefore if their actions continue as they are now, it is likely that CMC will no longer have users who will trust it again. CMC only thinks about self-interest without thinking about problems experienced by users.

Dont dwell to much on CMC. Those people from them arent that reputable enough. Anyway I dont care as long as Ive known what is the reality for these exchanges. Its not that they dont care maybe its hard to use or disable a monitoring approach of volume manually. Thr result might probably be from a bot which job is to record highest volume or trades which might be the problem for cmc. Anyway, Im only using CMC info as asset monitoring device for price nothing more.

Dont use the app. Everyone isnt force to download or used their infomation. There are lots of source such ad coingecko and any other asset monitor app. But to be honest CMC is the best on this field so might as well ignored this issue as they also know that this is a major one and of course they are testing some solutions regarding these volumes.

WTF CMC is doing right now by put p2pb2b as the second biggest exchange site in term of daily trade volume. i guess if CMC will never try to change it as it's an order that already paid by those scam exchange sites.

Yep seems this coinmarketcap is ruining their image, they don't take an action to those fake volume exchanges. I do not believe anymore with the ranking of highest volume exchanges because they really can manipulate it or fake it.

I don't often monitor Coinmarketcap to see the exchange rates or trading volumes that exist in each exchange. And I don't know if it's really cheating made by the CMC, so the OP is opening this topic.

I only trade in exchanges that I think are good and have a real volume. Even if the exchange that I use is ranked below.

Coinmarketcap will be popular in this market, Coinmarketcap provides very accurate information and no falsehoods. The problem is that fake volumes are exchanged and it makes the coinmarketcap fool and misleading statistics.

in my opinion it's not the fault of coinmarketcap, because coinmarketcap only provides information in accordance with existing data, so even though the exchange increases its volume by using bot (fake volume) it is still not the fault of coinmarketcap, because coinmarketcap only provides information on the exchange, so in my opinion coinmarketcap isn't wrong and doesn't provide false data or information.

CMC has control over the site and it's already made by CMC. it's wrong to say of CMC is not a party who has no responsibility for this thing. Look at another marketcap site and most of the other sites are putting different result. CMC is the only marketcap site that has been putting scam exchange site as a very popular exchange site with the highest liquidity.

I agree with you but sometimes we just can't put the whole blame on CMC maybe that could be a glitch or something like that. Trading volumes change so do the exchange rankings. But yes I must say CMC should improve their standards and systems to avoid such kind of glitches.
