We’ve got the scoop

- Bitcoin recently tested 10K.
- The coin surged by 68% in less than three months, possibly in anticipation of the upcoming halving.
- Get ready to throw that Bitcoin 10K party.

Since 18 December 2019, Bitcoin’s price has surged by a whopping 68% against the US dollar. It recently tested the 10K market, and we all have a major cause for celebration. So put on your party hat, grab that bottle of champagne you’ve been saving, and get ready to invite your friends over, because we’ve got all the info on how to throw a 10K BTC party.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgUTBMNlxKU

Bitcoin rallies
2018 was an abominable year for Bitcoin - the OG cryptocurrency crashed badly after the high of December 2017, finishing at a low of around $3,500 at the end of the year. 2019 saw some major improvements, surging above 10K in July, but ending the year at around 7K.

Since then, Bitcoin has seen a whopping 68% rally in less than three months. This past weekend, Bitcoin surged above 10K and is currently sitting at roughly $9,800.

Why Bitcoin has surged now is a topic of debate. The recent rally is thought to be due to the upcoming Bitcoin halving in May, as well as a resurgence in institutional interest in the cryptocurrency.

How to throw a 10K BTC party
Now onto the important business - how to throw a 10K BTC party:

Clothes
As with any event, you’ll need to show up sporting the right clothes. You don’t want to look like an idiot in front of all of your guests, right? Check out this epic crypto-themed apparel from CryptoClothing.

Music
Okay so crypto music hasn’t quite hit the mainstream yet, but you can still get your listening on, on blockchain streaming platforms like Musicoin.

Drinks
Most of us can’t imagine a good party without some booze, but sometimes running down to the local liquor store doesn’t feel special enough for a Bitcoin 10K party. Crypto enthusiasts can actually get their hands on the good stuff through sites like Overstock - and you can pay in crypto! This BTC cocktail recipe is a winner too.

Food
Crypto food is a tricky one - unless you’re dining out at a restaurant that accepts your coins. Still there are loads of ways for you to customize your food into being crypto appropriate. These Bitcoin-themed cupcakes can give you an idea of the kind of thing your guests might like to sink their teeth into.

Decor
If you really want to flash your 10K cash, look into putting up some epic Bitcoin decorations. You can find a bunch of wacky ones on Etsy - get that party spruced up nicely.

Bitcoin to 10K
Now that you know how to throw a 10K BTC party, it’s time to get planning. BTC is rising, and we’ll likely see a lot more milestones this year. With the halving coming within the next few months, and the soft fork following shortly after, 2020 is set to be one hell of a year for Bitcoin (and the cryptocurrency community as a whole). If things go our way, we’ll be partying through 2020, 2021 and beyond.

It is good to know that someone is thinking of throwing a 10k BTC Party but I don't think it is so premature to celebrate for BTC rally.  This is just a halfway recovery from its ATH, and besides the world especially China is suffering from a plague called nCOV.  I think it is much better if the money that will be spent on this party would be donated to help those who are affected by such disease.

I am no joy killer but I believe it would be best to throw a party when Bitcoin surpasses its ATH of $20k because by that time everyone, including those who bought during the ATH are in gain.  A very good reason to celebrate.

I'm a really introvert and shy person,so I don't go to parties.Good luck with organizing such 10K Bitcoin party(if this is not a joke and you really want to throw a party).I guess that nobody would join the party, because 99% of bitcoin and cryptocurrency users in general want to stay anonymous in one way or another. It's too early to celebrate Bitcoin's 10K USD price, because everything can happen, nobody knows when the governments worldwide will attack BTC and the crypto-world by releasing some ridiculous new rules and regulations or some new "crypto tax".

But while you're at the planning stage, the $10,000 is gone.  Grin

Bitcoin's price has shed off a few hundreds. I guess the price is not the right one for a party. Shall we move it at a later date and with a higher price? Perhaps when BTC hits a new All Time High? That one surely deserves one huge party!

I think it is not necessary to invite your friends that is a cryptocurrency enthusiasts, it is just simple. If they don't to be seen by the public then they have the option not to join the party. But for me, I could say, it is better to invite those who aren't a bitcoin fan. Basically, if you are drunk, that is also a good time to tell a story about how the party was really made, and what is behind the party at all. Bitcoin as the reason would be the best thing you could impart for people who don't have knowledge about cryptocurrency. By conducting such kind of party, you might attract investors too.

Music
Okay so crypto music hasn’t quite hit the mainstream yet, but you can still get your listening on, on blockchain streaming platforms like Musicoin.
Curious to contemplate this--has there been any music thus far that's even mentioned crypto in its lyrics?  I can't say I listen to much contemporary pop music, so I wouldn't have noticed if there were any songs that even mentioned bitcoin or cryptocurrency even briefly.

Anyway, it's way too soon to celebrate with any $10k parties, especially now that bitcoin has dipped under that price.  And in any case, it's not like we haven't seen that level before.  It was only last summer that bitcoin was at $13k or whatever the 2019 high was.  I'll be very happy if we can see it stay above $10k for a while, but I won't be attending any parties even if I knew of any--though a get-together with some forum people might be interesting in itself.

A feast during the plague coronavirus , I agree that it would be better to send this money to help in the fight against nCOV, where this money can be much more useful and necessary. Well, or to hold a party, and at it a charity auction or just a voluntary fundraiser.

Instead of throwing a 10k BTC party I think the guy should either keep them for the future as safe investment or he should either donate the amount to the charity or even for the victims of epidemics like Corona Virus , I think wasting 10k Bitcoins is not something that an investor should do.
Throwing parties are nice until and unless you look back and realize you wasted a hefty amount one that you could have kept for yourself and invest in something. At the end of the day , no one is Bill Gates .

Just don't throw parties while there is a pandemic virus causing deaths around. You want to avoid groups of people in close places, remember for this Wuhan corona virus it only takes one sneeze...

I don't think it is a good idea to to throw a $10,000 because that money can become bigger if you keep your bitcoin but now it is not that value because it's  $9800 but still near to that price of $10k.

Spendong money is good but in moderate condition because many people who are using large amount of money that they earn in bitcoin which is really good to treat theirselves for their hardwork but not most of the time and spending all because you think about what happened to your future don't think about what you have today because it is temporary .

$10k got tested alright. Just that, it failed. It all about lasted a few hours at most? And now, here we are again, back to waiting till BTC pushes through $10k. Sides, $10k isn't really a huge mark imo. I'd rather make a post about BTC exceeding the latest ATH instead, which is a much more solid achievement right now. Still, rather than a bitcoin themed party, just a normal one would do. Even a normal gathering at a family restaurant somewhere seems like a nice idea.

A feast during the plague coronavirus , I agree that it would be better to send this money to help in the fight against nCOV, where this money can be much more useful and necessary. Well, or to hold a party, and at it a charity auction or just a voluntary fundraiser.
Give the guy some slack mate. Not really his/her fault that the $10k mark coincided with the virus spreading right now. Sides, money spent is decided by the owner no? Not by the circumstances. Even if the whole world is about to die, as long as one guy refuses to spend his/her earnings for the world, what right do we have to get mad at him?

So the guys who threw the 2017 10k BTC Party either looked back in some regret, or in the case of one guy I know, simply disappeared so we'll never know.

Let's spare a thought for the 2018 guys who probably didn't want 10k. And maybe for the 2019 guys who desperately wanted to prove everyone wrong as Bitcoin pushed through past 12k only to lose it all (and have those losses wiped out in 2020).

I'll take out the hats when we've done a new ATH en route to Parabola of the Decade (cause 2020 is still the old decade!).
