Chainlink solves more problems than BAT and it is more practical to apply Oracle in the crypto market. Most of the projects on the market have partnerships with Chainlink. Despite its much higher capital than BAT, I am confident that the value of this project will continue to grow in the face of Oracle's demand for DEFI.

I prefer BAT for now, because Chainlink's price which has reached an all time high this year,
made me think twice about investing in Link, but for BAT I still believe it can reach an all time high,
according to chart analysis, I found good performance from BAT, and strong support have always been strong in the past few years.

Chainlink isn't a bad idea imo, especially from when you suggested it. It does seem a bit over-extended at the moment (against Bitcoin price particularly) and may correct further. Personally it's my third biggest holding after Ether, but only makes up about 2% of my portfolio, while making up about 1% of the overall market cap. I did sell two thirds after price 3x against Bitcoin, but am still holding a third for the long-term, even if I still think it could corrected further down another 50% to 40K sats.

BAT however is a weird one. I personally use Brave Browser and have been collecting the rewards for a year now, so it's a very small holding, as well as one I'm not interested in selling for Bitcoin or otherwise. On a technical level, it's breaking down to lowest levels in nearly 3 years which isn't a good sign, even if fundamentally the growth of Brave and it's utility token does appear to be growing. Overall, right now, I wouldn't be investing in either. But if I wasn't diversified I'd chose BAT (oversold) over LINK (overbought).

Chainlink would need to gather a lot more users to be feasible, right now it is not at that level and even though there is a good potential there, just having high potential doesn't make a coin valuable, it just makes it a good idea. As long as execution lacks, there won't be anything worth to invest into and slowly but surely it will drop out of existence just like many came before it.

Hence I believe unless something changes with the user numbers in chainlink, we have seen the maximum level it could reach, from now on it will not become any better than what it is today and that is the scary thought about it, however if user numbers change and they could find a lot more chainkink investors and traders, they could potentially get a lot bigger than many other competition in the market.

I have chainlink, and I also have a bat. I only have a feeling that bat can increase, but I am not sure about that because I don't analyze more or search for more information. I hope that it's really growing, although that will need longer to rise. Maybe @OP can buy bat as the price is low than chainlink, but he can buy both chainlink and bat, but he needs to analyze more, and don't just follow my advice.

Actually I see a lot of opportunities right now in chainlink as long as its trend will become stronger where it should not experienced any kind of breakdowns, right now its price is sitting at 12.75 and it is now near at major resistance at 13. If the chainlink can beat it then for me a rally is possible so for me we can anticipate and have a positions before it breakouts.

Chainlink started on crypto marketplace with the price of $0.17 in 2017 and it reached $20 in August 2020 . That is 100x in just 3 years which is really cool. I think we can see Chainlink at $25 by the end of 2021 but that's only my standpoint and it also comes with a huge risk as always in trading

If Defi trends last for a few years, investing in Chainlink will be good, but you must be prepared for the risks. My prediction isn't optimistic, probably $18 at most.

When we think about speculation, we have to bear in mind the following question: How is the project developing? Knowing this information we can have a basis of projection discarding the guesswork that by the way can harm a projection. In general, both have a daily volume of a few million and is a considerable value for appreciations. So with the development of projects and with market power why not add value in the near future?

I am in a similar boat right now. I wouldn't suggest people who do not own chainlink to go out and buy because it looks like it is at a high price right now. However I would also suggest people who do have chainlink to not sell theirs neither. It is just not really that well and I would say it is not really that bad neither.

It will probably be a half a decent coin, don't think it is going to suddenly crash and burn, but I do not think it will continue to grow bigger than other coins neither, it will probably stay as a top 10 coin for a while, then it will become a top 20 coin, and then top 50 coin and it will continue to be top 100 for years to come without dropping. This does sound like it may go down but it would probably more about not growing while others grow faster.

Established on what usually happens in the market whenever Bitcoin clinch new ATH price, all potential altcoin also associate with it bullish trend so in the next 2 years that you mentioned market correction ought to happen. However, BAT was underperformed because it does an interesting concept that will make that will woo crypto investors while Link is highly manipulated crypto.
