The title is a bit confusing or misleading, nevertheless about the content of the post; i will say both exchanges had their time then and while they were strict, Binance seemed to be a bit relaxed and user-friendly thus attracting more users which is also another reason why it overtook many exchanges. However, I don't think Poloniex is silent again because I heard about their IEO recently which also had a good success. Bittrex is also a good exchange but seems to be lagging behind in terms of IEO but there might still be room for good changes in the near future.

I use Polo and Bittrex exchanges , because they are still innovating. For altcoin moves to follow BTC, so you can deduce yourself. But all are just predictions from history.

On the one hand, l agree with your about altcoins season will come, but it is so hard to say when it will happen. How can you realize than after the halving altcoin season will bounce? l know that there are few days to happen the halving and absolutely know that after the halving something must be better than at the current moment. That is a good inference, which could actually be possible. An exchnage that is doing nothing to makes its investors and traders stay, will definitely lose the. Poloniex would have already known that they have lost some customers and bringing them back might be difficult, which is why they are doing nothing to promote their exchange. They can still try as much as they can to keep those that are still on the ground.

Honestly why people waiting for alts season come? If you just want make profit in market, just focus on few trading pair, few alts that you know well about them, that enough to make you profit.

These are the famous exchanges before and I am always having good experience using these exchanges to trade my altcoin. But I shifted to Binance cause of volume, and much active markets for altcoin. Altcoin market is not that great as of now, maybe because everyone much prefer btc and only few got some interest on trading altcoins. What good is, if btc pumps those altcoins pumps too thats why we shall need to watch how btc market will unfold especially after tha halving.

Polo and Bittrex have only over $100 million combined trading volume, while Binance currently have $7 billion, number one in terms of trading volume in overall.
