Upon searching on the Internet I noticed some stories on google and it was about a new bug in Windows 7. This bug becomes a major problem because many people already experience it and whenever they try to shut it down there is an error message that pops up and states "You don't have permission to shut down this computer". It has also been tackled in Reddit and  I know there are still some people who use this OS and if ever you already experienced this bug on your computer here is the suggestion of other people on how you will fix that issue. But, it can be a temporary or permanent solution for that bug.

Then, I also found out the permanent solution on Reddit for that bug and it's said that it required using gpedit.
Open RUN WINDOW and type Gpedit.msc.
  • Computer settings\Windows settings\Security settings\Local policies\Security options
  • Double click on User Account Control:RUN all Administrator in Admin approval(Option should be enable).
  • open cmd, type "gpupdate /force"
  • *In order to implement change, system restart is mandatory.
  • *To restart the system Press “windows+r” together and type “shutdown -r”
will get resolved.

Windows 7 now has been experienced different bugs and we all know that Microsoft already ended to support this OS and they will no longer provide these things.
  • Technical support for any issues
  • Software updates
  • Security updates or fixes

Lastly, if you're still using this OS maybe it's better to upgrade now before you experience those bugs and it's also for our security because it might prone to malware and viruses. The most advisable way to avoid those bugs is to install their Windows 10.

PS: I'm not good at this thing and I only have few knowledge about it and kindly correct if I made any mistakes.

They won't definitely upgrade their OS until they have experienced the same thing because people nowadays tend to disregard the warn by concern people on this forum because of the thought that they will not end up being on the same situation. They don't realize how it can affect their files and even the funds inside their computer (if they have cryptocurrency wallet or asset on the PC). They will just suffer the consequences of their decision if they will refuse to install Windows 10.

The legendary win 7 has stopped officially providing by Microsoft, I think people should use the newer version, exactly win 10. Many people say that they do not like using Windows 10 operating system, but the discomfort is because they are not familiar with this operating system. Some guys do not like to receive the new, although they can get used easily in a short time  Smiley

Windows 7 with a microsoft edge? I think that was too updated. Some windows 7 are still better than anything such as Windows 7 Ultimate with a 2017 version. Though it may have an outdated Windows Defender (its built-in antivirus), it doesn't really be easily infected with any malware or viruses UNLESS you:
  • Install unnecessary and untrusted applications (mostly cracked apps)
  • Click/visit untrusted links and websites online.
  • Insert flashdrives that contains viruses.
  • Doesn't install genuine antiviruses.

Windows 10 is also vulnerable to a lot of viruses, and even modern hackers/penetration testers often intend to find a way or a bug on updated windows 10. TBH, all of the Microsoft Windows operating system is trash. I do prefer having dual boot, Windows-based OS for office works and un-personal use, and Linux-based OS for personal use. Windows are good for its UI and UX especially the features of Windows10. But then it is too much of an open system and still has a lot of bugs/loopholes. Linux especially Kali, Ubuntu, and Penguin OS are good for both safety and security.

I'm really lacking information about this, so could you please provide some more information like examples of bug that happen or how Windows 10 is vulnerable to viruses?
Is it still vulnerable even with Windows Defender?

Since the age of Windows 7 until now, I think windows is still comfortable to use.

But, the funny things is lot of user reject to upgrade their OS just because doesn't like Windows 10.
Maybe because they're still using old computers. And as far as I know windows 7 is more suitable for old computers.

Windows 7 was the best operating system. I made the mistake and upgrade to win 10 and my laptop started lagging.
I think that win 7 apart from some small bugs that exist in the system is the best solution for windows users and more likeable to the eye due to the design of the bars and the menu in general.

We can say the same thing for Android too. Open source and an infestation-heaven.

Android is NOT open source, only Linux is. Linux can't do magic when you surround it with garbage, almost everything else in Android is proprietary, a kernel alone cannot do miracles.

The comparison with Windows 7 is nonsense, there is nothing open or free about Windows, any version is closed and costs money to use, except for ReactOS but you probably don't even know that one.

If you want to get rid of infestation heaven, go get some proper Linux distro for your PC, such as MX Linux.

I like Windows 7, it's really good, but I don't have any problems with Windows 10 either. It has more features, but I am always comfortable with it anyway. There are some features that I find more convenient than win 7, but there are a few minor bugs as well. I like new things, so win 10 makes me excited  Cheesy

Yes  you're right Windows 10 is best than Windows 7 it always doesn't cause any problems and you'll do all kinds of tasks without hitting the PC  Windows 7 may be a lot better than it's with the new update thing thereupon bed. this may increase the speed of your work.
